Well if the humans are extinct because of unicron then how would they be around to get mixed up in the war? Or do you mean that the humans are extinct in the future that the maximal’s came from before they landed on prehistoric earth?

I would assume that it would end just like the IDW series did. The autobots and Maximals would agree to the terms but the Decepticons and the Predacons would not.

Huh, never knew that. I thought for sure there were simpler CGI shows before Reboot and Beast Wars...
Also, I keep thinking for some reason that Shadow Raiders came before BW and they based Blackarachnia on Tekla's model. I guess it was the other way around.

This, so much. They tried to make us care for Dinobot but he was really in 2 episodes and did almost nothing apart from his talk with Airrazor. Now Rattrap calls him Chopperface and Primal tells him he would have accepted him as a Maximal? Since we NEVER saw these characters interact, only those people who know Beast Wars will feel anything... IE much like MOTU Revelation, this show tries to use another better show's character development and cheaply take advantage of it. If I have never seen BW and had no idea who Dinobot was... would I have cared about his heroic sacrifice? Likely not, since much like Optimus Prime, I would have no idea who he was. We barely spent any time with him.

Wait, what? How? Those were Polygon Pictures shows. Last I heard this was done by Rooster Teeth, no?

Ah that plot. We spent half of Earthrise with them, we get a cliffhanger and... apparently they all died when that bomb went off. In fact, seems everyone on Cybertron died, so... I dunno how they will repopulate it... What a waste. Shockwave did not even get to appear a glowy spirit.

Hey thanks for coming to my defense! It’s ok though, already squared everything away with Bee427 in PM.

 

I thought the animation (i.e. movement of the models) and the detail quality were significantly improved, but the models themselves were scary as hell. Seriously, they're nightmare fuel, in my opinion. Right up there with clowns. No, it wasn't comfortable to watch.

 

Glad to hear that. But I still felt it needed to be said because what he was demanding would’ve impacted all of us.

Well, that was how the original toy worked... mind you both were some big puffy fat cat thing that could only be vaguely thought of as a cheetah.   At least they did make Tigatron bigger here, but yeah, he got the short end of the stick.
Also, does Barricade die? He kinda disappears after a while.
And Astrotrain shrunk significantly since Siege. But at least he learned to talk. Of course he never transforms because these animators are lazy, even though Hasbro gave them all CAD models and how hard would it be to animate a shuttle???

So true. When Elita's ghost forgives him and says "you had to do it, you did not have another choice" I was screaming at him "YES! Yes he DID have another choice, maybe NOT shoot out the Allspark into space dooming everyone? Maybe just leave the planet?"
This Prime was so incompetent, and through negligence and error, malicious, no wonder Unicron reanimated his future corpse as Nemesis Prime.
Btw, what was the point of adding all the cool swords to the Nemesis Prime toy when he never uses them? Nor transforms...

 

OK I’m going to make a confession here. I’m embarrassed to admit that I never realized even back in the original cartoon that Tigatron was a clone of a Cheetor. 

 

Dude, you do realize that NONE of the Kingdom show models are even remotely based on the Hasbro Kingdom toys?
Yes, I know, sounds dumb but for some reason Rooster Teeth could not wait to ask for the CGI models from Hasbro and instead made their own. That's why all of them have no kibble (Blackarachnia's is the most glaring, she has nothing on her back) and never transform on-screen.
It's exactly the opposite of "What you see is what you get." Except for Cheetor, I guess. He kinda does look like the RED Cheetor... which does not transform.  

No, not really.. The TOYS were the same. The animation models were severely stretched and altered and Tigatron looked like an actual siberian tiger in alt mode, and had a very different, more feline face in robot mode. They were based on the same models but had been altered a lot - not direct clones.

 

As a character made for comic relief his inclusion in an otherwise serious show, without any form of lightheartedness, would have definitely clashed with each other. I’d say it would’ve been better for his character if he didn’t appear at all.

It’s a children’s cartoon about robotic aliens from another planet fighting each other on another planet for resources. I don’t think science was something the writers had to take into account for a show that was made to sell toys.

 

His constant "Notice me Megatron-sempai!" gushing was hard to tolerate. I expected at first it was an act and he would betray Megatron to claim the allspark, but after episode 3 it was clear he really is basically Kylo Ren, worshiping an old hero he barely knows anything about other than legends.

 

Which is even worse when you think of it.

No obligation to align with the toys and they are still stiff, hideous, and awkward.

They did transform on-screen.

 

I suppose I didn’t realize that, because I have exactly zero interest in the toys of Beast Wars characters. I’m not familiar with them because I don’t own any. I admit that I was speaking more from the perspective of Siege and Earthrise. I didn’t look very closely at the Predacons and Maximals models because… well, because I don’t really care.

 

I thought it was nice to see Soundwave using a sound ability for once.
