are these based on children's drawings or?...

 

i like soundwave and grimlock , if they were to do all the dinobots like this i would buy them

 

This Starscream statue makes me appreciate MP52 even more! I had to do a double take; for a brief second I thought this was an update!

I've always like these show accurate statues. However, now that the MP line is finally bringing these characters the way they're supposed to look, I no longer need to rely 3rd party licenced figs, RED, or statues to trully represent them the way they've never been done before. No more "yeah that's MP Starscream (MP11), but he's supposed to look like this". Not to mention the ability to actually xform them!

 

...I would gladly take a "crumbling" movie SScream statue for my MP collection, though. As long as it's scaled correctly, of course.

 

Are these out yet? Can't seem to find a single review. Thought the Joe ones turned out accurate but these just don't seem to translate as well.

I don't blame Sunbow so much as the Sunbow TF animators. G.I. Joe didn't have nearly as many mistakes. At least not blatant ones.

 

The real Starscream is way cuter, that face is really off

 

Gamestop and ThinkGeek have them in stores plus Hasbro Pulse is shipping them. I have all three. Maybe I’ll shoot something later today. Love them. And the GI Joe ones.

 

Saw the Grimlock and Bumblebee at GameStop today.

The toon accuracy is nice and unlike the R.E.D series they’re scaled to each other. So the good news is that Grimlock is BIG but it also means that Bumblebee is tiny. Probably even smaller then the R.E.D version. The sculpts are very Sunbow like but the poses are boring. The top half is doing stuff. Arms out stretched and torso and heads turned, etc. but the legs are all super static. They’re just standing there.

 

I've got the 3 2nd wave guys. I like them. Probably going to get wave 1 at some point. Waiting for a sale.

Also got Cobra Commander from the GI Joe line. Because...its the Commander.
