If those thighs fixes the gap in vehicle mode, I'm l in.

 

This is getting embarrassing for Hasbro.... it’s no longer upgrades adding to the figure, it’s entire chunks of the figure

Now that we can see them with some detail.....they look, essentially the same as in the original figure? No doubt the extra hinge on the shoulders for the kitty ears and the hands are a nice plus but it just looks quite pointless IMO.
Also the head looks slightly worse than the official one, looks like it was based on the ss38...

 

Between this and Tim Heada's upgraded arms, owners of MPM12 will have good options.

Me? I'm happy with my WJM09. It accomplished what it set out to do without requesting all the extra "fixes." Maybe if the base figure goes on clearance I might get this but Has/Tak I feel got kinda lazy on it.

 

What's that piece in the centre?

Yeah, the first one the guy is working with Dr. Wu, and is the one that's been shown to massively fix the arms and cat ears.


This one seems to be trying that as well as a new head and thighs that seemingly let you push his shins in in truck mode. At least that's why I'd think they'd make new ones.

 

I wonder if you could use both sets to make the truck mode almost perfect?

 

Wondering if it's worth waiting for a KO to be made with the improvements already added in

 

All I need are new hands like MP-10 and ill be happy. This looks like so much work to install. And I don't want to lose all the awesome ratchet joints in the limbs.

 

I dont know... I've complained a lot about the inaccurate heads on the 3P's but, this one looks good, to me. I just want a head with LEDs or, better details, in there with blue eyes. The DNA looks squished. Ill probably buy this, and part it out.

I might be trying to like him, too much. The hands are terrible, and I dont like the panels on the arms.

 

Hey just looking at this pic again, are those extra joints on the legs? Maybe giving him double jointed knee joints ala ThreeZero DLX Optimus Prime?

 

I'm gonna get this set, mainly for the hands and better shoulder panels (cat ear fix). Also it's hard to be sure but could the arms and new thighs be adding articulation? A deeper knee bend would be very excellent to have. I think there are some mods I can do on my own, so I won't need ALL the parts they're offering, but if I'm paying for them I'll probably end up using them.

 

Yeah I’m looking mainly for hands, BUT if this gives more articulation. I would happily buy this set.
