    @Siege Fan,
Whilst not being the show accurate colouring I want for the Blackarachnia mould there's no contest as to which of the 2 versions we've got so far looks the best.

The Kingdom version is so bland I have her on a shelf that's mostly in shadow so I don't have to look at it as the orangey colour they used keeps making me want a cheese toastie using Red Leicester :D

I did watch a video for the transformation but still haven't done it due as to be honest it doesn't look worth the hassle which is consistent with most of the Kingdom Beast Wars characters....Airrazor remains the only one that does both modes pretty well within the constraints of a Hasbro mass market line....jury's out on Rhinox until I get him.

Given how the animation cheated a spider's always going to be a tricky proposition regardless of the line, the Masterpiece spider mode wasn't that great either and whilst more slack can be given at Legends scale Transform Element still had to cheat a bit with partsforming for theirs.

My ideal solution for beast modes would be non transforming ones, same concept that Super 7 are doing with the Ultimates only done with the same aesthetic and scale as the BW Masterpieces.

I considered buying Kingdom BA for the spider mode until I saw a video. It just doesn't work whatever. I suggest making the BW alts the new Action Masters!

No more both hands and a vice grip to do a transformation, or dinosaurs making old dear hand gestures...

They should have done a few more paint apps on the alt mode to make it look similar to a movie variant bumblebee alt mode.

    He's also a triple changer.
He can also turn into Electrode

    Who isn't? :D

    Strongdown and Breakarm!

Debating over the name is just splitting hairs at this point :lol

I don't know what you lot are doing with your BA, her transformation is pretty rock solid for me once everything is situated right. Granted getting things tabbed in right can be a little tricky but once you do...

Also man, the more pictures I see of the WC BA the more they make my eyes bleed :lol  I'll still with my Kingdom BA's lovely deco thankyou very much!

    ...

I forget who asked (@Convoy ?) but I did manage to make a combined mode of Scarlet Dragon Tank and Scarlet Sonic, except for the hamme/dinohead as there's nowhere to put it:
20210730_183508.jpg Some kind of exo suit thing.

And have a dynamically posed 2B while we're at it

I thought Blackarachnia was more poledancer or stripper than Prostitute - iconographically speaking - but then the Leopard print is kinda 1990's LA street walker... Hmm so not sure about that. ( Makes me wonder if they did it on purpose though as it's not even that close to the toy - oddly as I had a Takara Blackarachnia - I didn't even think of these colours as "Toy colour" in the 1st place. I almost got to wondering if it was The unrelease Halloween deco instead for a moment or two.

    ---------

Another couple of Ladybug toys showed up for pre-order (oh and I got my plush pollen in the mail today - so they can join Plagg & Trixx now) I'll have to get some more eventually. I stay away from plushes a bit as it's so hard to tell them apart online.

Anyway next up "Secret Superhero" fashion Doll Adrien Agreste / Cat Noir & the rather snazzy Dragon Bug doll.

    Dragon-Bug-fashion-doll.jpg

If they keep leaving out accessories someone is going to need to make these things an Accessory pack.
Bunnyx with no Brolly, Cat Noir with no Batton and Dragon Bug with no sword is just wrong.

Fingers crossed the 12cm Action figures wave 2 show up soon too !!!

    Worlds Collide Fangry mini review...

It's quite a 4 pack that includes King Kong as a video game boss, all the influences Bumblebee, Spider Slapper, and *Austrian accent* 'What the hell are you?' Fangry.

    20210730_165334.jpg

Everything about him is Frankenstein. The green face. Parts just grafted on (we'll get to that later). Big boots. Straight up it just doesn't do anything for me. And Gillian Anderson in a latex catsuit knows I like mad, colourful robots.

Oh, mine has the weak knees we've seen in video reviews. A slight knock to a shelf and he could fall backwards they're so bad.

His headmaster is apparently called Brisko. I even checked because it's quite a name relatively speaking. He's awful. But he does store in Fangry's alt mode belly and it kinda seems appropriate.

    20210730_165434.jpg

And the alt mode is where things go off the QC cliff. Those back pieces above the thighs are held 'in place' by a micron of plastic so they promptly fall apart....

    20210730_171547.jpg

The tail won't join together between plastic tolerances and tiny tabs. It looks even worse from the front.

    20210730_171532.jpg

It's Apeface all over again. Touch it at your peril. I'm sorry because I know folks have wanted this guy for a long time, but simply lifting him sees super cheap plastic pop apart. No joke.

    20210730_171522.jpg

This is as good as it gets in my terms. A fragile almost statue. Love the madness of it but the laziness wins out by a country mile, sadly.

Fangrystein is a disappointment in both modes for this guy on the internet. Only that epic alt headsculpt and wings work for this guy, the build quality is shocking.

    This.

You possibly got a BA that escaped a factory mullering because I've adjusted the legs and everything else on my one by nano movements and nada.

With pending redundancy and a very ill wife (long covid has turned into auto-immune disease) I've tried to get a jump on things by turning my garage into a mini-warehouse setup so I can get more on ebay and out the door without ruining the house.

I've found some interesting things I'd forgotten I had, most of all trading cards. Star Wars Galaxy 2 and Shadows of the Empire, the Amazing Spiderman set from 1994 where every card is by Bagley, spare DV8 and Gen 13 cards and most interestingly... my brothers long abandoned Babylon 5 cards which haven't been touched for at least 20 years.

    20210730_221534.jpg

Yeah, back in the day he was even more into B5 than me (he's the reason I went to Babcom 95 and fell in love with the series), but he was a rubbish collector who didn't complete sets (there was no ebay back then so he is forgiven), several of the chase sets have just 1 or 2 cards missing, and he only did seasons 1-4.

So fuck it, I'm finishing the sets including series 5 from scratch. I already bought a sealed case of Star Wars Galaxy 3 for my birthday and I'd forgotten how fun breaking a box was. Is this an insane way to spend time and limited money as a 42 year old? Any of you guys have an old favourite trading card set you can't part with? I remember the Turtles and Batman sets being very big in the UK in 1989.

Anyone who hasn't seen Babylon 5 here are my copy and pasted thoughts...
Babylon 5 is fantastic, but maybe you needed to watch it at the time? It hasn't aged massively well in a lot of respects, but the story is still a masterpiece. You have to remember the idea of doing a single story over 5 years with a clear ending had never been done on television at the time. Season 1 is rough in places, and season 5 has some filler as they basically condensed two seasons into season 4 out of fear of cancellation (which makes sesson 4 amazing but intense). Apparently HBOmax has HDish remasters so give it a go.

    :lol

Oh god, you thought I had soiled myself. I'm pretty open but I reckon I'd keep that to myself!

So, no. Not at all. I literally filled the dining room with soil from a grow bag. I was clearing the garden of loads of bags of hedge cuttings, weeds and so on. Which was a great idea when pissed at 3am. Anyway, I made a fucking mess and decided for whatever reason to get out the shovel and make it worse. I'm an arsehole.

(Lady Napalm is fucking dying laughing here)

Not gonna lie, I thought the same until I reread the post two more times.

Honestly, 'Woke up this morning and I had filled downstairs with soil' DOES sound like a brilliant euphemism for shitting one's pantaloons :lol

No shade or anything but self desecration sounds more realistic than indoor gardening.

I think even indoor gardening sounds like a euphemism :D

Big thanks to CZ Hazard sorting me out some micromasters which makes me 84-89 complete. Just need to track down g2 bruticus, g2 snarl and drench and I'll be 92-95. Not in any rush though spent enough this month.

Hahahaha, the overhead door that opens up into the street from our garden is knackered so I had to bring everything through the house.

In hindsight, I could've chucked them over the wall and gone round afterwards to bin them. No mess, no fuss. But that clearly would've been too easy.
