Been collecting for a while, but have kept my collection mostly to myself (and my household members). It's always an evolving process, but didn't think it was worth sharing until recently. Being stuck at home for several months helped accelerate some of the things I was hoping to achieve with my display. And finally, some of my display methods are fairly unique and a few of the parts are likely leaving the market, so I figured it was a good time to share where I'm at right now:

    Miscellaneous Legends:

    Miscellaneous DETOLF:

I also created a playlist that details the space and each piece individually with information regarding modifications and thought-process.

Very nice, very organized. Wish I could afford a MP collection like that.

Thanks, guys. I've definitely prioritized a clean, well-lit display over volume, given my limited space. I go into greater detail in my video playlist, if you're somehow interested enough to listen to me yap.

I'd love to see your stuff submitted to the displays segment on bobby skullface's 4 dummies. They would drool all over this (as I am) haha.

I actually did submit my collection to him almost 2 months ago. He implied that they would add mine to the list, but I'm guessing the list is massive. I'm in no hurry, of course. They'll get to it when they get to it... although I'm getting a little concerned that my displays will have changed drastically since the submission and they end up reviewing something overly outdated. Oh well. When and if they do get to it, I actually hope they shred it to pieces. While I appreciate compliments (as I do yours), I'm looking for ways to improve that I haven't been able to see on my own (especially given my limited space).

It's been a few months with some pretty significant changes to my display, including an entirely new piece of display furniture. The arrival of Haslab Unicron threw a lot of things out of wack, but I think I was able to at least get that figure displayed properly:

I like your smart home intergration into your display. Like that Google home hub and Wyze motion sensor lol. Might copy it.

Yeah, a majority of the lights in my home are hooked into smart home integration. With the number of smart lights that now light my Transformers displays, I really didn't have much choice. I either had to flip like 12 switches to get everything turned on or automate them with a motion sensor (and scheduling). Pretty much a no-brainer.

I'm quite proud of the Google Home idea, though. I've actually added several more images of Unicron for it to cycle through. I could theoretically cast the entire movie to that screen, since it's Chromecast built-in. I like it so much that I've been on the hunt for used Google Homes to add to my other displays. Each one is also a speaker, so each one that I add actually improves the sound in my room, too. The only thing that bothers me is that for some reason Google Homes cannot display .gifs, which means motion .gifs are off of the table.

A bunch of figures came in over the last few months, prompting some changes:

And a video, if you're so inclined:

    Thanks!

Megatron and Soundwave are from Magic Square.

    Astrotrain is from MechFansToys.

Quick update - not Transformers related, but still some ideas that can easily be used for Transformers:

If anybody cares, my entry finally made it into Bobby Skullface's Collection Critique series. The entry is almost 2 years old (which is a bit of a long story in itself), but better late than never:

Been a little while since I've made too many major changes, but did manage to add a little spice to a legends G1 Decepticon shelf. I love underlighting:

You've done with your shelves what I always dreamed of doing. The makeover there alone is a masterpiece unto itself. Gorgeous use of cardstock, background builder sets, and props to create something dimentioned, interactable, and real. And man, the scaling between Devastator and Menasor versus Megatron and the gang. It's spot on. I am loving the excuse you took to show their diversity and personality in one killer scene. Knowing how tall MP Megs is, it drives home how big the combiners are, just like the cartoon.

But I would be hard-pressed to choose between it and the Autobot displays. Starting with the main one. Again, your sheer commitment to interaction and detail shines here. It feels like a complex shot from a high-budget production. Film-level. You even snuck Spike and Chip flawlessly into the action. I particularly enjoy Ratchet and Omega Supreme having their little heart-to-heart. And the movie display could just as well be a poster- it has that 'Heroic Art Pose' feel to the nines. The front row is so solid; perfect characterization.

Then there are the Legends displays. I've always been hesitant to sink my money into something that small, but seeing yours makes me want to go all out. This. This is the kind of stuff they were made for. Grand-scale epic scenes. Taking advantage of scales the bigger figure cannot. In the same way MP-scale Devastator and Menasor have presence, the Legends combiners tower, and make every smaller figure pop out around them. Your love for the different continuities is inspiring too. Seeing the DJD snuck in there at both scales is a treat, though they pop tremendously in the Legends. Tarn's victory pose grabbed my attention right away. I'm also glad to see that bar counter be put to use- it has tempted me more than once.

Finally, your choice of upper-shelf centerpieces? Gorgeous. Haslab Unicron is clearly deserving of the attention. The amount of detail poured into him blows past work out of the water. But then again, the third-party version is stunningly screen-accurate. While Megazarak and Trypticon hold their own. Putting them together? Twice the impact.

This is a phenomenal display of love, care, and creativity with character and materials. You have every reason to show it off. Thank you for sharing it with us.
