Here, sorry for the quality, but it should be possible to see what I'm talking about. Paint apps are a lot better than the normal KO Prowl I've read about in the post (I tried to use it as reference while purchasing this KO) And I think they also improved the facesculpt.
Plus, it doesn't look like he has the gun peg issue.
As I said, it's missing the Takara Tomy mark on his foot, but it looks like an even improved version of the original KO.

 

I would say it's a KO. The black paint on the hood isn't centered on the emblem. Looks like the one I purchased a few months ago. Most of the other paint apps were pretty clean.

 

Damn, Thought for a minute someone had news on an Anime Edition KO. Annoying that the plus edition KO's never really got past Red Alert and Sideswipe. WOuld love to get the Datsuns and Wheeljack in the new paint scheme, but not fond of the moulds enough to pay Takara prices again. I wonder if FansToys will ever re-do the Season 1 Carbots?

 

I would still like a Prowl. Where did you yours from? Does it have rubber wheels?

 

Does anyone know why they stopped KO'ing all the + versions after Red Alert? Did Takara scare all the KO companies off from making them?

I still need to buy an MP-17 KO, though. I like having both versions (already have mp-17+).

My KO has been great had him 4 years now.
He mostly lives here now though.

 

Does anyone know if there is a KO of MP17+ and MP19+? I was looking at ones that I thought were authentic but neither had date stamps on the box. I haven't found anything about KOs of these two. Did anyone know?

 

There are no KOs. What happened is that they were US imports of the figures with sleeves over them. Those sleeves had the date stamps so the inner box did not. They should be legit.
