To be honest, I would rather a group make a from-scratch playset style Ark instead. But yeah, at Titan-sized, I don't think we'll be seeing anything get the OS treatment.

Except this ruling doesn't really have any bearing on 3rd Party producers. The leverage here was that the seized toys were exact copies of official product, meaning it's rather easy to prove theft.

3rd Party toys are original items that just happen to resemble characters owned by different companies. It seems like a minor distinction, but in terms of how laws are applied, I believe it's pretty much an entirely different ballgame.

Is the official Voyager class that hard to find nowadays?

 

Almost 7.1 inches. How tall is the original? Even I'd be interested in that...

No, it's that he's shorter than Prime (especially First Edition Prime) and that he's rather unpleasant to transform. The Cyberverse Class (that's what it was called) is a smoother transformation and just looks good. At Voyager Class would make for a killer figure.

 

Have you looked at the APC Dark Master? It's an improved upscale of the FE deluxe megatron, is taller than FE Prime, and might have better articulation than the new Megs in the picture. It's hard to tell but I think it's missing at least a thigh rotation.

 

And it's a fantastic piece. I didn't get their Prime, but Megatron is great.

Unfortunately, their Arcee was a pile of steaming crap that I unloaded.

 

I have the Voyager, but... idk, just never was a fan of it.
I think the proportions were just ever so slightly off that it bothered me. The chest felt too big, and the shoulders too narrow. The shoulder pads sat too high, midsection was a bit too thick, and the fusion cannon was too big and compromised by the goofy mechtech or whatever. I feel the Legends figure did a better job of capturing his proportions.

Granted, I'm not particularly in the market for a TFP Megatron. I just like the design and wouldn't mind having a figure to mess around with.

 

Oh, yeah, I remember that discussion now. I'm hoping their Soundwave is worthwhile. After the Arcee debacle, I'm considering holding off on preordering it.

 

Overscale Legends/Commander class (the old Cyberverse commander class that is) is a very interesting idea.
Make me wonder if they might overscale Core Ratrap or Vertebreak too ?

 

A deluxe/voyager Vertebreak would just be SO cool, I swear.

 

I was curious if anyone here bought a Barry White and if they had any accessories with them - I rather like the look - it's a bit like the Legion Class Barricade that was made in white before.
