You're not the first person to suggest the head doesn't look right, but I'm honestly not sure what's wrong here. What does it need to be more accurate?

The figure is accurate to the G1 toy, which just means the proportions look off if one's priority is a dynamic looking action figure. At the very least changing the heads gives it a bit more expressiveness. And the posed picture looks a lot better than the standing one.

EDIT: Also just noticed he has up and down wrist movement. That rocks.

I do wish Tracks was his Action Master design, but I do really like what they've done. I still wish these were smaller just because that'd be my preferred display scale. Bludgeon's probably the best so far.

Does anyone know the deal with the derect order from super7 and sponsered links? Is there an advantage to ordering derect or thru another party? If they are made buy order why can the third party store just put up a pre order?

If you order directly from Super7 you have to pay upfront and order within the window of availability. This potentially nets you slightly lower prices per figure and faster shipping (not 100% sure on that last one). Other online retailers can still make larger wholesale orders, so you can pre-order from any of them like you would any other release assuming they haven't filled all their pre-orders, which I don't think has been an issue with TFs yet, but has been with TMNT on occasion. Per figure price will be higher (like $5) and they may ship a little after Super7's site fulfills their own orders.

Far better than Hasbro\'s R.E.D. line...

I mean, for the most part I agree, but do you honestly think this Megatron looks better than the RED one?

I gotta say, I'm really surprised these Super 7 Ultimates are generating quite the buzz compared to lot of peripheral non-transforming licensed figures.

From this wave, for me the clear winner is Bludgeon, but I'm still not 100% on it. Tracks coming with the little tank dude is interesting, but the main figure itself looks crappy IMO. Nobody would be willing to sell tjst accesory alone right?

From the first wave I'm probably getting Banzaitron, and maybe Bombshell, depending on the AM partner. Next wave I'm really excited for Tarn (please look awesome) and curious about the Alligator thing, if it is indeed Optimus Prime from that episode.

All in all, I can't believe I'm seriously considering really expensive non transforming figures, I barely recognize myself  :D

Really excited for Tracks, but Kinda disappointed they did'nt give him his G1 toy head/ portrait like they did with Optimus. Gonna be selective on which one of these I'm getting. I have Optimus on pre order, will be pre ordering Tracks, and will definitely get the Starcream, Skywarp and Thundercracker as they're released.

I think he's the weakest in this series, but IMO the only thing better in RED is the face.

Definitely a missed opportunity for more Actionmaster love, like how they did Bombshell in the first wave.

Was thinking about cancelling Super 7 Banzai-Tron pre-order and just get a complete 1990 one from eBay... just looked on eBay thinking $20-30... saw that people want like $50+ for complete... was like okay at that price I'll just get the Super 7 one, lol. :p

Bludgeon should have come with his tank mode as well, which could transform to robot mode. It was the basic “legs out, arms up” transformation that could be done with three or four points of articulation.

That'd be awesome, but I believe that Hasbro does not allow licensed 3rd parties to make transformable figures.

Think someone screwed up on the rendered image of the "packaged" image for Grimlock. Looks like it includes some type of gun....yet nothing about that in the description and don't think he could hold it very well with his dino hands.

I wasn't ever that interested in Super 7, but I really wouldn't mind picking up that Grimlock and Bludgeon. Now if only we'd also get a new Generations Bludgeon (would love to see a weaponizer take on him)...

I think the key word are - based on - here. The WFC designs arent the G1 Sunbow ones. Again these are renders, the train prototype gives a better idea per the preview vid they did.
