Oooh it sit have a rather wolf like shape to it! I also liked the nod to him when Airazor saved her and she gave her a peck on the cheek while being cradled in her arms and said "My hero" which I'm pretty sure is a callback top any number of scenes in Beast Wars.
Also pretty sure this BA is bi or lesbian as she earlier commented that 'the pink one' aka Arcee was cute.
I also quite liked the Iron Man looking fight Airazor had in bot mode.
I must admit, I am also now reconsidering getting Dinobot too!  

 

Just watched kingdom episode 1. Did they accidentally swap dinobot and tigerbot voices? Feels like they'd be pretty spot on

Slamdance just needs the screws in the feet loosening a little to avoid breaking (and some tabs in the legs removed to improve the vehicle mode). Nothing major.

There's something utterly wrong about Slamdance. Individually, Gland Slam and Raindance are good updates, but the inverted colours for Slamdance are just off. How would you like to see Optimus with a blue torso and red legs?

 

Not seen Kingdom yet and judging by the first two instalments I’m in no rush. I like to think I’m quite open minded and will take things in their merits, but Siege and ER have done nothing to “ fire me up” for this. I will assume(!), that as an adult fan I’m one of the key demographics for this show and when you can’t keep me engaged then you have problems….

Much of this has been covered, but using the toy CADs as character models doesn’t work. It didn’t work in Energon and it doesn’t work now. I want my toys to be screen accurate - I don’t want the screen to be toy accurate, there is a difference. At the risk of singling the Unicron Trilogy out for being a “bad” presentation media wise, it was the last time I can recall the fandom decrying the voice acting and I was always prepared to give it a “pass” because of the constraints of dubbing.

However what Kingdom has achieved is generating some interest from this poster in Beast Wars as a whole, I’m enjoying the new toys have a few on preorders and am going to check out the show properly as soon as DVDs land at Chateau Skywarp, it’s always been a gap in my knowledge and one I should rectify

This is very true. Much like the Bay movies brought in new fans, many of which sought out the original source material, Kingdom may do the same and that can only be a good thing.

 

Agh, I feel like he's closer to what i want, but not quite there? Maybe of I don't display Hoist he'd be fine. Don't know why I'm so hung up on the guy!

I'd love for that to be the case, but while the Bay movies were aimed at a more general audience, I feel like this was aimed at G1/BW fans. That said, even if people aren't watching/enjoying it, just people talking about transformers is a good thing right?

 

I paid 20 GBP to "buy" the Black Widow movie on Disney+.
For two people watching, it was more or less the same price as cinema tickets, saving the travel costs and the obsessive munching of self-unaware viewers in the same theatre.
IMAX would cost 50% more. I guess for some movies it would be worth to go for IMAX.
But for most movies, I find paying 20 GBP for two people provides similar value and a better experience than going to the cinema (and I have a 30 inches monitor, so it's not some massive home theatre).

If it's only you watching, then yeah, 20 GBP are not ideal.

Oh look people getting annoyed by Blackarachnia giving Airrazor a peck on the cheek in a very meh series and claiming it's Hasbro forcing values down their throat.

They're not homophobic though guys! Honest!

Helped me pick today's #deskbot though. Kingdom Blacharachnia is the best toy version of the character with a couple of minor flaws (boob tab) and a slightly wonky transformation.

 

Plus paying for it on disney+ unlocks it permanently so you an re-watch until it leaves the channel.

This arrived from toysarama nice and early although scheduled delivery was this afternoon.

Having just declined an offer that was only 40% of (that’s of, not off!) the BIN with the message stating they wanted it for their disabled child…..now I’m not a heartless monster and consider myself to be very fortunate in a number of ways and will always endeavour to “pay it forwards” when I can, but cynicism has deffo got the batter of me today…!
