T-Wrecks has shipped.

 

I must have gotten 4 or 5 in stock notifications for Rodimus today. Never quick enough.

 

Target finally came through for me on my pre-order. Can't wait to open it up when I get home

 

I asked an employee at the Monticello target here when the shelves were going to be restocked, and he told me all the boxes of toys were in the back on a pallet for after the reset. He also said that nothing would be stocked until it was done. A bit odd since I grabbed the cybertron mode Bumblebee.... I just couldn't get an answer about when the reset was happening. I assumed that since some of the toys have an 8/1 street date this weekend was a likely time for it.... Thanks for the clarification!

Even though I got a delay e-mail just yesterday saying my T-Wrecks was delayed to August 10th, I just got a shipped e-mail, so it looks like Target got in a hefty supply.

Correct. And it all depends on the market director.

Basically you have a store manager/director/whatever you want. Then you have a market/regional director. And they can push for stuff to be released early. For example, in Michigan when DOTM was released Walmart released all the figures by accident 18 hours early. It was a MASSIVE deal for the other stores as they had to contact Hasbro who finally agreed to let THEM release them early.

This is a bit different... you have toys that don't all ahve a street date. Some market directors have given the direction "Stock them NOW". Others are "Wait because I want pictures of full shelves". It's why in Michigan right now many of us, myself included, were able to get Origin Bumblebee and the crash figures... but there are other people who can't. Different bosses giving different commands.

Got f***ed by Target today when after approving delays, my Rodimus/Galvatron/Tracks order was cancelled REGARDLESS. Tracks was free due to a circle offer when I ordered all three, so that deal was gone. Then Galv and Rod were out (although Rod has come back, and I regrabbed him for a LATER delivery date), and I now have to try my luck in store for Galvs. Guest Relations comped me on Tracks which is FURTHER pushed back, but it really doesn't make up for things. Not really.

 

T-Wrecks is showing in stock/pickup tomorrow at a couple stores near me. I'm not a redcard holder, but I placed an order. We'll see tomorrow, I guess.

God I hate Target...

 

Just got a Rodimus Prime from the most recent pop up of inventory. Will be cancelling my backordered one soon.

 

Thanks also cancelled my backordered twrecks and put in a new order. And got it about $10 cheaper with 5 off 25, 5%birthday and 5% redcard.

 

I haven't seen any of the 5 off 25 or 10 off 50 target circle coupons. Is this one targeted?
