Ironically this, Nightbird and reboost are significantly more interesting than another super toon bot to me.
Might dip on all 3. The prices are reasonable. Nightbird is already at 12,000 yen for me. So these are MP’s that I can safely buy and know that my wallet and savings are happily maintained. Thundercracker May be the only new model seeker I get since I like blue and MAYBE the QC issues will be fixed. I’ll talk to the shop I preordered from and see what their return policy is as I can still swap out the preorder money for that and use it as credit on another figure. Safe approach, lower risks. That’s the way I’ll be approaching this most of the time.

I'm fine with the toy style details and the price is nice, but I wish the knees had more than 90° bend. Less articulation is the one part of reverting back to the old MP style that actually bugs me
Why not both? They could do a new character black Ironhide based on the Diaclone and give him arm cannons like the movie version. They could also give him a new head that’s a 3D modeled version of the sticker face. Which… has a passing resemblance to Movie Ironhide…
Well, I think in this case, the back of the legs are what's preventing more than 90° bend. It's a limitation imposed by the sculpt.
I’ll set aside 60,000 yen just in case. This would make for a neat mini display case all in bot mode. 6 Skids variants sounds fun to me and I’ve got most of the Diaclone MP’s to boot. Thanks for sharing the knowledge
For being a nobody, I’m surprised you’re not happy with this MP even if it’s not one you will get. I mean, it is official after all. Plus with the low price of entry, he should do well. I’m sure the ones buying in on these will be happy.
any sense in waiting for amazon japan on these? downside would be cancellation not possible after a certain date. the price plus shipping is usually among cheapest though. surprised its not up yet.
Should be 5 total as the blue one matches Skids sans the Autobot insignia. Unless they do a more toy deco for Skids, too. Amazon Japan won't be selling Crosscut directly as he's a TT Mall exclusive.
