Is it definitely confirmed that Siren, Nightbeat and Minerva are sharing a mold? I can definitely see Nightbeat & Minerva sharing a mold, but I wonder if Siren too would be a bridge too far considering he’s not generally a repaint character like Tracks / Road Rage / Loud Pedal?

Nightbeat & Siren don’t really share much beyond being cars and headmasters, so I wonder if we could instead get an exclusive Siren mold we could get retooled into Go-Shuta instead?

I’m sure Toyhax would come through with a label set, but I much prefer Go-Shuta’s blue & white police layout to Siren’s red & grey fire deco.

I don’t want to speak out of turn, but from what I remember I think they’re limited to two Core class repaints/retools (some of us have speculated Bludgeon from Core class Megatron would be one)

 

So how much are we all agreeing that we will either get in a main line or as a select a repaint of the origin bumblebee as cliff jumper? It just seems like that has to happen with the way those two are.

 

I doubt it, never saw Cliff in his cybertronian body and I don't think Buzzworthy original molds get repainted that often, certainly not to other characters

 

As far as I know, it isn't confirmed that Siren/Goshooter is made from the Nighbeat mold, but speculation considering that Siren is supposedly a Selects release and not in the mainline like Nightbeat and Hosehead/Cab (implying that he's a redeco/retool of someone, and considering that they're both similarly sized car headmasters, Nightbeat is the most likely option). However, some are hoping this means, as you said, that that's because Goshooter is a new mold mainline release and Siren's repainted from him as opposed to sharing a mold with Nightbeat.

 

My new cursed idea for Goshooter/Siren is that Hasbro does what they did for Selects Galvatron and includes stickers for an untampoed mold so you can have either or.

yeah. I don’t do stickers. I have bad double jointed arthritic hands and don’t trust myself with applying any stickers.

plus, some of the stickers from Prime Wars are already starting to peel. I’m not a fan of stickers.

 

That would SUCK. Go Shooter is white and Siren is gray… Also different shades of blue. I’d much rather have one a mainline release and the other as Selects.

Agreed. Maybe Nightbeat will be the Siege Sideswipe of Legacy and we get all of them.  

 

People saying that Siren needs his mold because his transformation is different to Nightbeat really need to take a good long look at the recent Generations Selects Seacons....

 

Those are really Gen Selects in name only. They're a Takara endeavor that would be releases in Unite Warriors if that line still existed. Hasbro's Selects are typically headswaps at most.

Yeah. But imagine Bumper, Glyph, and Tapout all from both the Earthrise Cliffjumper Mold and/or the Netflix Bumblebee Mold.

 

Okay, not sure what you are getting at. Of course those would be great. Doesn't take away from my theory that they are going to reuse the Cybertron Bee as a Cliff jumper as that is their go to

 

I agree that they'll most likely reuse Origin Bee as Origin Cliff. I'll have to get the mold in hand before deciding if I want to indulge in non-show G1 reuses, though.

But thanks to Siege I have a number of them already!

 

Origin bee would make a great Aileron, now that I have him in hand. Enough so I might pick up another down the road to repaint.
