Was visiting target in Oshkosh Wisconsin and found these two packs. I believe they have yet to be reported as found in the United States.

The Dropkick two-pack has. There was no confirmation whether the photo of the Stinger two-pack was a sighting at US retail.

 

Pretty surreal seeing High Octane BB on shelves again.

Almost as surreal as seeing the Movie1 Deluxe Bumblebee and Protoform Optimus Prime again in 2017.

So if one is found at retail, technically aren’t they all found then?

Checked my target during lunch time. They literally had zero transformers. Not one.

 

Ive seen all of these plus the barricade pack. They were all plentiful here so they probably wont sell well unless its to new collectors trying to catch up. I found Saucer Bee and bought him, but still looking for the Fangry set.

I spotted the stinger set this past Tuesday. Didn't know we were still waiting for a sighting  

 

So, I know a couple TLK toys have been repurposed as SS, which isn\'t that bad. I look back at TLK as proto-SS anyway... But this is a first, a 7 year old toy (SS 79 High Octane BB) from AoE has been repurposed as a SS toy. Kind of odd is you ask me. 

 

Classics seeker mold saw life for a decade plus they just pulled out the TR double cross mold out for Fangry and rereleased the original headmasters earlier this year. Not that weird to be honest

 

My local Target put all transformers on clearance weeks ago. It has been deserted for transformers for a while.  I hope they plan to add some new stuff instead of giving up on transformers ...

 

word is they’re scheduled for a reset so they’re purposely holding off on a lot of orders

 

Those are not the Original Headmasters from 1987, they are from the TR/Legends line, just in retro packaging, so that goes back to only 2016, also the mold used for Fangry was also developed in 2016 (only 5 years old). But again these are all for "Retro" style releases. I expect this. I would even expect/hope that any future combiners still use the system developed for CW since it works so well.

What I was getting at was the idea that the SS line was supposed to be the best possible on-screen representation of the live action movie characters, which obviously was not the goal back in 2014. It just seems like a cheap way t bring a figure back that is out of place with the rest of SS instead of developing a new one.
