What are your thoughts on these guys? Grimlock and Slag are the first TFs Ive ordered in quite a while. Hope they dont disappoint!

Whats the chances that they will actually do all 5? c7eada0c-3eda-4466-a10b-c440b9eac9cb.jpg bd97dd89-15b4-4ff0-b58b-b1d02d8e1fac.jpg

Grimlock is a fantastic figure. I'm still waiting for Slag to come in, but he sounds like he's just as good.

Based on the leaks and rumors, the remaining three are supposed to be coming out.

Grimlock is awesome. Haven't gotten Slag yet, would like to see at least one other before committing but I may not have that luxury.

I appreciate that they are hyper-accurate to the cartoon, but I also would like to see some fresh, modernized takes on the Dinobots down the line. Slag looks like a stumpy, derpy dino. That is 100% accurate, so I can't complain, but I would like to see the Dinobots made to look more ferocious and bad-ass, maybe closer to the Fall of Cybertron designs.

I have Grimlock and a preorder for Slag. Grimlock is really awesome, him (and T Rex Megstron) feel like a return to big beefy leader class figures, unlike most "Voyager +" leaders we mostly got in WFC.

So yeah, I'd recomend them, and am really excited for the remaining three that are rumored to be coming soon.

I've got Grimlock and love the guy. I eagerly await Slag, too. As for the rest, it wouldn't make sense not to release Swoop, Snarl and Sludge. Those who already have the first two-like myself ;)  -would be compelled to complete the set.

I've always had a horrible feeling they will skip Snarl, as he "wasn't" in the 86 movie (he was, just only in a few scenes). I hope I'm wrong. Hasbro said they wouldn't skip figures in a sub-range, and we're still waiting on the other two Autobot Target Masters. Time will tell.

I have Grimlock, and he is BEAUTIFUL! So nice to have a real leader class on shelves again, tall, beefy, 0 hollow spots, while maintaining that sweet sweet WFC style posing. I'll definitely be picking up Slag eventually as well. As for the rest of them, there are leaks from a reliable source that Sludge and Swoop are to come, but no word on Snarl yet.

I think we’ll definitely get all five original Dinobots (leaderclass Sludge and Snarl and Voyager class Swoop) It might take a year or two to get there because there’s limited leader and voyager slots. They are getting a big push in Cyberverse this fall.

Snarl will probably sneak into the Legacy line. Much like Galvatron, Cyclones, Ultra Magnus, Arcee, Springer and the Quintessons were in WFC and not Ss86.

I bet we’ll get all 5 Dinobots first before the remaining Autobot Targetmasters.

SS86 Grimlock and Sl(a)g are some of my favorite recent toys, as admittedly the Dinobots have been longtime favorites of mine, and the combination of the size/scale and the fact that they aren't (and don't need to be) particularly complex in design, gives them a hefty, sturdy feel that you don't see that often any more in,,, well just about any recent Transformers toy line.

Hoping/expecting the full five in matching style, though they may take a while, and not necessarily be all in the Studio Series line.

I wouldn't worry, there's no actual attempt at a movie theme here, everything just goes in whatever line has space now.

I didn't think they'd made any of the seekers in SS86?

Oh, I mean they did a Bayverse Thundercracker (repaint of Nitro Zeus). Point is that a character doesn't have to be prominent to appear in Studio Series, so Snarl does have a good chance.

I'm happy with Grimlock. I just wish his gun stored better in dino mode, maybe if it could be tabbed in facing "up", to look like it shoots over his head instead of off to the side... As is I peg it into one of the ports on his leg or sides of the back. It looks like Slag fixes this by having the gun go in his tail (not that I have found him yet but have him ordered on Pulse). Wheelie is useless to me and I assume Daniel will be also but Grimlock by himself was worth the price.
