I'm starting to think MS quality will go down.

The insert on his chest keeps getting caught and popping out when transforming him.

 

Does anyone think they might not put out a metallic version even though they’ve told a couple retailers they would?

I’m getting very antsy here and this figure is getting hard to find. I do not want to miss out or pay an exorbitant late tax because MS decided to not do a metallic.

 

they might or maybe they wont for 6 months or whatever.

but either way i promise you this bot is not hard to find. it wont be china prices but my buddy has atleast 40 of them on the way as we speak. i have no problem grabbing you one and tossing it in the mail.

i can even have him set one aside for you if you just want to wait it out and see. that way you at least have the bot parked.

 

You mean Toydojo or someone else? I did just shoot them an email in case they have one that’s not listed on their site.

But yeah if you could have them park one for me that’d be awesome.

 

Well did say Prowl was coming out soon but it's been half a year and still nothing. And then they said they were spreading the Devastator parts among the 3 pairs of Constructicons but looks like it won't be the case. So nothin is certain...

They put out metallic versions of most recent items, so I would think they would do this for the people that ar collecting for the metallic looks… I think UM would be an exception. But yeah, they want your money. I’m sure you can count on a magnificus too  

 

Has happened with mine since day 1. Don't use super glue.

 

There was a tiny bit of extra flashing on the bottom right edge of mine. I shaved it down by a whisker on both sides and it's much secure. Probably fit better if I took off more, but it's good enough that I don't want to overdo it.

 

I was thinking of it but I think that would bleed through and make it look bad. Wonder if cutting it slightly would work.

Superglue would craze the clear plastic. If you really wanna glue it, get some UV glue and just put a tiny bit at the corners.

 

That did the trick. I used a small knife to shave off the area you showed and it stopped popping off. Much obliged.

when i get mine in i plan on just wrapping that part up with duct tape. that should do the trick.

 

Just being honest, I don't have this problem with that red panel at all. Transformed him back and forth quite a bit and never had an issue. I take it this is not a common problem (though not to dismiss it, as it's certainly more than just a couple of you).

But yeah, I can see super glue causing major frost problems for anyone trying to fix it using that. This could be a simple "future/Kiki" fix at the posts besides the aforementioned shaving down the sides of the panel for a better fit.

 

Just got mine today courtesy of Mr. Chi, got tired of effing around waiting for a possible metallic version.

Haven’t been able to mess around with him much yet, but first impression is wow, what an awesome little figure.

He feels and looks good too. Is he nylon? I can’t tell, he doesn’t feel like most of their nylon stuff to me. Whatever type of plastic they used, they did it right with this one.

 

yeah i thought he was a really great fig and pretty cool.

for all the complaints or concerns about the little arm for his scope. i found that part actually really solid and durable.

 

Yeah no worries after handling it and transforming him. Everything is aces with this figure afaic, looking forward to more Autobots from MS.
