The toon version had the same thing with the top of the chest. It would stay properly if you push up on the truck bumper on his back at the same time as pushing the top of the chest down.

That Youth deco really is purdy.

Even though my main draw to the Stunticons is nostalgia from the G1 toy versions, after three years of seeing only toon versions of MP Motormaster, I almost feel drawn more toward the toon deco, lol. Still grateful to have the toy version as well.

Nice Dragstrip! Did you do some paint and decals from the Tyrrell model kit? The driver too!

Just a Tyrrell decal sheet, the driver already came painted that way. These are the youth versions.

I was just thinking "oh, I bet that's the youth version" lol! Looks great, where did you get the decals? I found this place specializing in model decals and need to order some for Jazz but considering some others

I got them from there too, only problem is that they are 1/24 scale and a bit too big.

Received my Youth Gravestone today. XTB have had their share of disasters over the past 18 months, but this is just gorgeous:

Everything is about the same as the toon version in terms of build. Same stress mark on the waist hinge that doesn't get worse, same trick needed to get the top of the chest to tab down, but otherwise no visible issues or flaws on mine. Tolerances and joints are all good. The deco is awesome. It would have been perfection if they'd chromed the truck bumper/grill and sword, but I can understand why it was probably safer to go with silver paint.

Youth Trailer soon hopefully (and fix the Locke mess, and Virtus, etc. But those are for other threads).

Oh cool! You didnt see the different sizes? At first I was bummed because my search for Martini Racing decals took me to them also in 1/24 but then I saw they have a drop down menu that allows you to order in different scales which most MP car bots are 1/32, all better and cheaper too. Here's one of the Tyrrell pages:

Maybe you just naturally did it. That's what I did. As soon as I put it in place and it didn't want to tab perfectly into place, I just looked at it wondering where to press to make it go and it did. If you transform it normally, it will leave a gap unless further finagling is put in place so that's why its labeled a trick. When I saw this first brought up I went to go check mine since I wasn't aware it was a trick for some.

Well not so much a trick but that thing where the top of the chest sometimes won't tab in fully unless you press up on the truck bumper at the same time.

Definitely recommended if you're into the toy look. Give in to the urge :p

Just got a notification from ShowZ that the youth Wildrider is incoming, which will complete my Stunticon set. Any news out there about the youth trailer?

Hmm, I paid £190 + postage from Omegalock for the toon trailer and accessories so it seems to work out quite a lot cheaper this time round. I guess they've taken note of the backlash and also probably recouped enough on R&D costs last time round. Hopefully this listing doesn't get updated and splits the accessories from the trailer though
