Getting both, see which I like best. Maybe leave one in alt mode.

Mines just arrived from Omegalock, QC30 on mine, can't see anything in terms of scratches/chips, both feet fine left side maybe a little looser than the right but holds fine.

 

Just unboxed my Omegalock delivery.

Marks of the front of the ankles that I assume are the scratches that have been mentioned. Weirdly to me they look like someone painting to imitate swirly plastic. Not the usual quality finish I expect from FansToys but also not as bad/noticeable as I'd worried it would be.

Left ankle/foot is slightly looser than the right.

He's an impressive figure in general though definite shelf presence. As I'll have a multiple Springer shelf I'll decide later down the line (if Virtus ever happens) which MP Springers to display in each node I think.

 

Has anyone who ordered from Bombusbee get theirs yet? Mine hasn't updated since hitting the Avenel, NJ black hole 6 days ago. One thing I hate about ordering from Bombusbee is everything coming from them ends up going through Avenel and I have to guess when it shows up... Really fun when I've had my neighbors kid try to steal packages before.

It's also quite disappointing hearing about the loose ankles people have been reporting.  

 

Just got mine in from ShowZ. Great looking figure! QC 30 with slightly loose feet, but it's very easy to get him into a stable pose. I was tempted to get Air Wolf, but I think I'm content with Apache. I'm also running out of room, haha.

 

Mines come in. Severely frustrated as I actually love this figure. I have MMC Saltus and when I compare the two it drives me nuts. The sculpt of this guy beats the MMC release in the head with a shovel but the MMC has so much articulation. Both get so close to the perfect Springer and both fail where the other succeeds. The more heroic face, the shape of the chest, the upper arms, the feet, the way the crotch doesn't look like spandex or a nappy, it just flat out beats Saltus for visuals. But MMCs has butterfly joint arms, an ab crunch, an easier transformation. Christ the aesthetics on this guy, it fucking oozes while Saltus can pose like a boss.

I was happier before this figure. I didn't know how good this guy looks in hand. Now I can't decide. I thought about selling this guy on, I only pre ordered as I got a decent price. This is hurting now.

 

And just like that Apache is here today. Gotta check the ankles now.

Edit: Just did my initial lookover and the legs are a huge pain in the ass so far with not staying tabbed together. One slight move and they pop free.  

The right ankle is slightly soft but I can't call it loose yet because I haven't tried to stand it up.

 

The outside parts of the legs. I get the top tabbed in and the bottom pops out. Get the bottom tabbed in and the top pops out. It's so fucking frustrating. When I finally manage to perform magic and get everything set if I dare move the legs in any way they will pop free again.

So I stuffed him back in the box until I cooled down lol. I'll mess around with him later.

 

It all depends on what you want out of your collection. In general (especially those movie bots), FT figures are pose and go, complex transformations and paint are not a great combination. And the heroic proportions aren’t for everyone.

If you want to have a back-and-forth piece, then you should go with Saltus. He also looks more toon accurate if you are going deeper down the Takara route.

 

I ordered Apache from Bombusbee but mine has not gotten here yet. The tracking through their website does not help at all but this morning I decided to see if the number would work on DHL and it says that the figures were delivered on July 17th. That's untrue because I was at my house when it says the package was delivered and nothing came. Have other people who ordered from Bombusbee had this issue?

 

Track through parcelsapp and/or through 4px's site. That said, they still may be fairly useless. Every Bombusbee delivery of mine tracks normally until it hits Avenel, NJ and then it goes dark for a week or so and doesn't show any movement until the day it's being delivered, if i'm lucky.

As far as I know Bombusbee usually ships stuff with 4PX and then it gets delivered by the USPS, not DHL.

 

Yeah dhl might have delivered it to usps. Look close at any details u can find and make sure there isnt a secondary tracking number somewhere. Happened to me with terrys once. Also try running the number u have thru usps tracking, idk if youll find anything but worth a short.

 

Check your tracking number on parcel app. It gives more info. Then, scroll to the bottom and look at "next tracking number".

I agree with @Dpuff. DHL has no last mile delivery in the USA besides DHL Express. "Delivered" almost certainly means delivered to the last mile service (usps or fedex).

 

I ordered Apache from Bombusbee as well. Shipped July 10, arrived July 30th. I have yet to open him since I left for a trip right before he arrived, have to wait another 2 two days. I to had a slight delay when it hit Denver. Patience is never strong in us collectors.

 

Still saying it was delivered on July 17th by USPS using the "next tracking number" provided by the parcel app so I've got a problem on my hands, unfortunately.

I had the same problem and then after transforming him to both alt modes and then back to bot the legs are tabbing in correctly. I think things get a little out of whack during shipping and once you move it all around and redo all the tabs it lines up again. My problem is the lose ankles. I found a pose that works and he’s been in it for the past several weeks. I still worry I’ll find him laying on the shelf with a few other bots knocked over with him.

Got mine yesterday from @ShowZStore . I must say, I love the new colors. The joint of both feet is somewhat loose... Rest, seems to be fine

 

What's the difference between this and the old issue?

 

I'm wondering too... I just got mine today. I know the forehead triangle is no longer yellow.

My right ankle is loose.. Haven't checked if I can tighten a screw or anything...

Debating keeping my OP Big Spring for car mode..
