Have we heard any reason(s) why Pulse UK is not keeping pace with Pulse USA on the Transformer pre-orders?

They've added RED Primal and Reformatting Megs, but the UK site hasn't - they even have a place holder for the Ravage set, which is also missing from the UK site. Ravage not being included would make sense if Pulse UK hadn't put up placeholders for the upcoming Star Wars exclusives.

Do they just hate us Transformers fans?

No idea but I hope it's not the first sign pulse UK isn't doing as well as they hoped.

 

Just a quick pick of the brain on the Generations Skids mold. Yay or nay? Been offered a MIB Takara Legends one on eBay for £50 posted and not sure if I want to accept. Just looking to get the representation until we get a more G1 accurate one and to bolster my Wrecker count.

IMO not worth the £50. It's nice enough, but not that nice. Especially if you just want a representation of Skids to fill a shelf, and it's not because you're a mtmte skids fan and want that particular character on your shelf. And I may be wrong here, but I think there were unofficial hints that a new one may be coming down the pipe in the future?

 

All true, I would also add IM2 was partially about establishing Widow and that was foisted on Favreau by the Marvel higher ups. He's admitted a lot of that movie was rushed to build the MCU and was dictated.

Tbh there's quite a lot of women lusting after and/or touching Thor too and seemingly nobody got offended by that. Can't say I did either. It's almost like men and women can be attracted to each other and their bodies   (context is everything, it should all be considered in the round, the value of your investment may go up or down, Apple reserve the right to harvest your children...)

 

Thanks for the input, probably gonna pass then. I’ve seen the reviews and I don't fancy a figure in my collection that eager to take a shelf dive and take some exclusives with him. I believe you’re correct about one coming, but I can’t remember who mentioned it probably @Apollux  

 

He has no heels and you need to do something funny with his legs to get him to balance. Maybe chicken leg them slightly? I can't remember and mine is boxed away so can't check. I think that was who mentioned a more g1 styled one but likewise, can't remember properly.

These were the easiest skips I've ever had in the history of me collecting Transformers, but hot damn do you make these look good!

 

Would have skipped them all too if I hadn’t caught the seeker bug. Only one I don’t have is the G2 Ramjet that I really want to turn into Slipstream. Saw the sparkbot barricade mold and it’s ghastly, which is what they were going for I suppose.

I’m more and more tempted to pick up dead Prime though just so I’ve got him if I ever decide to make a display of his death with the 86 bots.

Of course not. Is Hasbro hated fans, they would have given exclusive distribution rights to Kapow Toys.

 

Partners and distributors are still a fundamental component of Hasbro's business model. They are trying something new with Pulse, but it's a delicate balancing act. Pulse is not becoming BBTS overnight, hopefully it will.
I dream of a future Pulse website where it's possible to submit interest for reissues of old toys. And maybe, one day in the future... we'll get that Prime Master shell from Grand Maximus.

Has BW Deluxe Scorponok been release yet? Seen some in hand pictures and dont want to miss it.

Gen Select Grey Galavatron, anywhere still taking preorders? I was very shocked when Pulse said they were sold out, they control the bloody factories, increase your order.

When is The Ark and GenSel Black Zarak out?

I saw MMC Star Convoy was due for release and then nothing. Did it get delayed?

Needed to give that Seeker a splash of fuelshed on his body and modded his head, but the other two are great out of the box. As @Siege Fan says, consider them if you see them in a sale, they work well together.

 

I'm so done with zombies, but I always like that stuff like this exists for the people that like it, and as custom fodder.
