Welllll they will paint it all the same color grey for u if u give them an extra $100

 

That's the first thing I realised, when they decided to change colour of the trailer to dark grey.
I am sure they won't leave it like this, and probably add a pair of fake hollow pillars to the skeleton structure, that will cover MM arms (or at last the unwanted colour).

 

This was figured out months ago.

 

Those pics from the Chinese board have it wrong. You have to align the bottom of the feet to the arms. If you rotate RKs backpack 180 degrees you can get the crotch back even further and then the legs go higher.

 

Yet another element to add to the list. If Motormaster had simply been a transforming cab that just used the second trailer...

1. Weight and stability issues would be reduced
2. Motormaster would scale more accurately
3. Motormaster wouldn't have gray on his arms
4. Motormaster wouldn't have a backpack
5. Motormaster would just have one trailer, instead of two
6. Transformation would be simpler
7. Menasor's shoulder pillars would automatically be the right color



Maybe Fanstoys should bring back the Perfect Fusion line to do an alternative cab-only Motormaster that is smaller, more toon accurate, and lightweight, which would still combine with the Fanstoys Menasor trailer. That way everyone wins.

 

Should of made it a pants former better all round.

 

I can't see anything that resembles a trailer on the Menasor's skeleton, I wonder whether the pieces just store inside a trailer or FT did a very good job with the transformation.

 

I imagine it'll basically turn inside out.

I really wish they would give us a render of Motormaster with the double trailer. It's hard to imagine that they could form the entire skeleton from a trailer the same size as his current one. Will he end up with one small trailer and one big trailer? Or will the second one just be obscenely long, DX9 style? Come on Fanstoys, as least give us that little scrap of info.

 

I still find myself wondering where things are truly at with the skeleton - and how far it is from retail. I wonder if they've done a ton of revisions, reworks and design changes and are on the verge of a breakthrough. Or are they still scratching their heads as to how the heck this thing will work. And not just design and development, but testing and trialing materials that will be able to adequately address the weight, posability, tension on connection points etc. I wonder if they've nearly got it all sorted or if they're still a very long way off...... I agree with previous comments about Bandit himself, I'm sure they've got him done and dusted IMO.

 

I think Bandit is long done as well. As for the combiner parts, I think they had a model ready, then saw how XTB did it, thought "OMG AWESOME LET'S DO THAT (in Chinese)", did just that, then someone noticed DX9, thought "THAT'S COOL LET'S DO THAT TOO (in Chinese)", found out it didn't work, went back to scratching their heads, and are now trying to hybridize all of it together in something that is stable, solid, and functional.

 

Given that the stunticons and aerialbots releases have always alternated, it is more to wonder if FT has problems with Hollywood (FT-30D) as it has not yet been announced. Until Hollywood is out, I doubt we'll ever have a date for Bandit

 

I think they want to complete their Stunticons first, before they finish their Aerialbots. And the sudden re-releases of earlier figures might suggest they need a bit of cashflow for it.

 

It’s hard to believe Fanstoys is strapped for cash, it’s more likely they’re unsure of how their combiners will fully work and are doing a little QC

Yeah, I've got several different pics thru the years, this is only the last one that I saw, and not all of them are equally transformed.

 

Through the years... Man. FT has got to finish this combiner. It's been 26-27 months since Roadking first dropped.

 

We need to have some faith, after reading dalianjj's interview from a few years ago that @Marcelo Antunes reposted recently, the man and his partners are true Transformer's fans themselves. They would never put out anything that they wouldn't buy themselves! Let's give them some time to knock it out of the park!
