It is a nice head sculpt, though I'd personally prefer one that emphasized the kibble less, and pronounced what was the intended head a bit more, with the black helmet and pronged crest.

True, the head contained within the upper part of the gun handle was meant to be the "complete" head, but the original design had it integrated so far back into that gun kibble that they are visually difficult to separate. And quite honestly, if one intentionally focuses only at that "inner head", it's somewhat goofy looking by itself.

 

Well, nobody can be perfect. It's fine if you think one bland uncreative name is better than another one, but you are wrong though. They both mid names and I love both of them.

I don't really see how the intended head is that goofy to be honest, it's just a standard scifi helmet with a bulked out rim and sides with a pronged crest. And yeah, I can the idea that it's hard to separate it from the kibble, hell 9 times out of 10 I'm a kibble matters type of guy who likes things like Classics Optimus's door bucklers and a lot of the later beast wars era figures, I just think it'd be interesting to get at least 1 Megatron with the originally intended head.

 

I always viewed it as a cooling vent, so his core processor doesn’t overheat from all the evil schemes …

I’d love to see that design adapted for CHUG from here on out. Heck, I occasionally check Shapeways to see if someone has made one. As much as I like the face sculpt for TR Megatron, I’d replace it with a MP36+ style face in a heartbeat. Maybe I should learn how to do it myself …

 

No offense intended, but your recent posts suggest that you have difficulty seeing how anyone else's opinions can be valid at all. I completely respect that you like the "inner head", and I agree that it would be interesting to see a modern Megatron that utilized it, but I personally think the only example of it-- the original-- is somewhat goofy looking. For the head thing I wasn't trying to talk shit about your opinion on it, I was simply giving my own and trying to leave the conversation open so you could give your own viewpoint, possibly explaining why you thought it was goofy?
And the name thing is 100% not serious at all, I just don't use blue text for every single time I'm not serious cause I assume most people can generally get the idea when someone is joking or not due to the atmosphere of most of the online boards and sites I'm on, if that's what you're talking about. Like I'm happy to waste endless time for shitposts and jokes, but I'm not gonna waste it trying to seriously tell someone their opinion is shit. Unless it's about Pizza. To be honest, I really don't care-- and I don't say that maliciously, but honestly. I could just put you on "ignore", but I like to keep that list short and reserved for genuine trolls, which I don't think you are. I just think you type whatever comes to your head. However, good communication isn't really about your intentions (e.g. sarcasm, humor, genuine insight, etc.), but rather about how your words are received. Maybe from your perspective the back-and-forth bullshit about Nemesis vs Scourge reads like more than a kindergarten argument, but good god from my end it is just a waste of ones and zeros. I really enjoy reading what people think-- usually even more when it contradicts my opinions-- because often it makes me reconsider my own perspective on things. But the lame tit-for-tat crap with other contributors only makes me want to fast-forward to something with legitimate substance.

Here's my attempt at turning some of my favorites Transformer shows/movies/etc into a stupidly long light novel title, as I describe the plot in a light-novelish sounding way:

• The junker Volkswagen Beetle I picked up is an alien
• My bizarre adventure in another world, as school children and my boss turn me into a hero!!
