Didn't add it cause it was already confirmed. That and I needed to save a bit more space and give full attention to what WASN'T. Same reason why his standard issue gun isn't here as well.

LMAO, funnily enough it's actually a tennis ball.

Yeah, not for me, but incredibly good news (if true) for the current MP collectors.

I also hope that this does indeed mean that TT has secured the Porsche license (and thus Jazz for the official-only MP collectors), but I still don't consider it a given. If animation accurate then it will be a very deformed altmode. And considering that while most of us can easily identify the chibi Bumblebee as a VW Beetle (=license needed), many are surprised to learn that Cliffjumper is a Porsche. As such, a license may not be needed. HasTak basically do nothing else for the mainline: altering altmodes just enough so they don't need a license, and did so recently for SS Jazz.

It will be very interesting to see how this develops. Actual MP Cliffjumper or not, licensed or not.

Also, why does the rifle look like it's attached to the forearm, not hand held, and that it does some transforming?

Doubtful. Every mp vehicle that could get a license has been licensed, as far as I can recall. Even chibi Bee. It’s another advertising angle for Hastak, helps to “justify” higher prices, and helps keep Hasbro in automakers’ good graces when they want to negotiate rights to feature the real vehicles in the movies and marketing. It’s all connected.

Kind of funny the comments of being too skinny as Cliffjumper is kind of skinny. That is not the chest of a thick or muscular person.

There looks to be a hinge to allow it to collapse somewhere in his car mold, looks like some serious remolding from Bee barring the legs if everything Green is new. I think those notches and pegs are for support and another "locking" point for the weapons.

"At 1st I was gonna have the initials for 'babysitter' but I couldn't walk around with a big 'BS' on my chest, if you know what I mean".

All bullshit aside (no pun), if we do get this as MP Cliffjumper, I'll bet a dollar that Jazz will be released the same year. And if that IS the case, FanToys will be a day late/ a dollar short just like what happened with Acoustic Wave vs official Soundwave years ago. I was looking forward to them thinking that these would never show from HasTak. Hopefully this rumor is true!!!

Let's face it, Fanstoys wasn't gonna get to Cliff/Jazz til freaking 2026 anyways.

It's attached to the forearm because one of the attachment points on the rifle for storing also matches the slot on the forearm for the other forearm peg to fit into, and the person taking the pic was either a little dumb or pressed for time or both

SS86 is so close to a real Porsche I think that they did need permission from Porsche, they just then chose not to advertise it on the box.

If this is an official CJ it lends some credence to the last survey and its options. It was safe to assume that some if not all all those options were ringers, in that some work had already been laid down for them and they wanted to get feedback as to which to prioritize.

I know a lot of people thought Cliffjumper was a made up car but he is a real Porsche. He is a "chibby" interpretation of a 1980 924 Carrera GT Turbo. A limited edition, Homologation special.

Yes except one curiosity - the toy does not have the hood scoop of the Carrera GT, rather the Naca duct of the regular 924 Turbo.

Yes, I had wondered if they found that easier for the toy. They did also sell regular Turbo 924s with the kit from dealers, so the Carrera kit with the regular bonnet (hood) was not that unusual. Still, I'm thinking it was just a bit of artistic licence.

Yes Absolutely! I recognized it immediately once you pointed out the face sculpt being Takara level quality!

Ha that was right before my bedtime last night when I saw him on your IG and had that brief convo…I thought I might have dreamt it until I saw the pics posted on FB this morning! :D

Well a real MP Cliffjumper that’s just as fun and cute as MP45 Bee is super exciting! G1 Cliff was one of my very first Transformers toys as a child and I’ve always had a soft spot for him…never really thought TT would pull the trigger though! As with MP Skyfire my excitement won’t be fully realized until he’s officially announced (as I’m jaded and a prototype could sit for years before coming out or even never be released) but this looks far enough along to think it’s feasible for next year! Man I really hope so because XTB Toro is definitely the weakest link on my “Ark crew” shelf.

Of course as many have pointed out this release is potentially exciting for a few other reasons! First and foremost…PORSCHE License means an MP Jazz really could happen!! Secondly, a minibot not named Bumblebee opens the door to others to come! I would be sooo happy to get a real MP Windcharger, Huffer, Brawn and the rest…

Oh and finally yes I was going to hold my nose and attempt to somehow secure a preorder for the upcoming FT version but now I can avoid that headache altogether knowing that a true masterpiece is going to happen! I’ve been so annoyed with FT lately I’ll always be happy to not give them my money :D

So win all around! Awesome! :)
