I'm looking to add a Windblade to my collection, but there seem to be a lot of options, spanning Generations, RiD15, and Cyberverse. Anyone have input on which deluxe-ish sized Windblade figure I should go for?

Apologize if this thread is in the wrong place, but I wasn't sure where to post it. Couldn't post it in a specific thread since the question spans at least 3 different toy lines

T30 is my personal pick. Otherwise I'd say get the Furai model kit, it's pretty slick.

Ignoring if it Transforms or not, I'd say the top 3 would be:
    Flame Toy's Windblade model kit
    [IMG]

    T30 Windblade
    [IMG]

    and Fans Hobby's Windwheel.

Surprisingly little amount of Windblade toys out really.

I've heard that one has some stability issues with the heel design?

I would recommend Titans Return. It’s a lot of fun.

I would, however, strongly recommend against Thrilling 30. It’s not very good at all, with thin plastic, a jet mode that doesn’t like to stay together, awful heels that don’t stay in place, and overall she doesn’t want to stand up at all.

This. I feel this is the most solidly made Windblade who fits with the current WFC line

I love the TR one and hate the T30 one (those damn heels and fiddly wings).

I do like my Fort Max colored one…

Believe it or not, my vote goes to Cyberverse. Its a sleek, detailed mould without the hassle of the "platform heels" that make the Generation toy hard to stand. And I personally don't like the chunkyness of the TR toy, looks outta proportion to me. However, get whatever appeals to you most. I have both the Generations and CV moulds. I'll snap you a pic in a sec.

Generations on the left, Cyberverse on the right.

I always liked the way Titans Return Windblade looked. The only thing I really dislike is how the head is obviously just her face on a box, but maybe that's something a little custom work can fix?

RiD15, but Cyberverse is a close second (more gimmicky, but still solid).

I agree very much on this one, less fiddly, great proportions, overall solid I guess.
Even the Hasbro one is good enough, you could just add the needed colors yourself...

Flame Toys if you don't care about transformation, Titans Return if you do.

Just stay far, far away from the T30 one. One of the worst TF toys I've ever owned. Only good thing was the sword, which I gave to the TR figure.

Absolutely. You have to dicker with the heels constantly while posing her. You can put her in some fan modes with her heel rotation changed that improves the stability, but her feet are definitely her weakest aspect, and her shoulders pop out of the sockets easily, too. Engineering is not her strongest suit. She just looks nice. A good IDW Windblade that I got for a lil over 10 bucks.

I posted a few pics of her in the Siege thread earlier, and she's balanced on Skywarp's chest at an odd angle without much difficulty. The heels are definitely trouble, but you can work with her.

Honestly, probably the Furai since that's oddly the most accurate to her IDW design. I just wish that we'd get a good one in CHUG scale.

I'm just looking for a deluxe size transforming figure, so Flame Toys is out of the question. I think there are just 4 of them? T30 Windblade (her first figure), then the Titans Return headmaster one, then the RiD15 one, then the Cyberverse one, right? Am I missing any?

They've all got pros and cons so I'm not sure which one I want

I don't like the T30 one's face and what y'all have told me about the fiddlyness scares me, but she's the only version with a wrist swivel and I really like that especially for a sword wielder

I really like the proportions on the Titans Return one. Really close to the artwork attached below, my favorite look for Windblade. Slightly wider hips and denser lower legs give the character a really nice solid warrior feel, while every other version seems a little bit dainty, like Arcee. It also has, without a doubt, the best face sculpt. Gorgeous. I'm also a fan of the universal joints for the hips rather than ball joints. But it's the only version of the character without a waist swivel, the jet mode is the worst looking out of the 4, I don't like the swords at all, and I'm also not at all a fan of the headmaster gimmick. The gimmick was a deal breaker for a lot of otherwise neat looking figures for me in Titans Return
    280px-Revolution5-Windbladeprofile.jpg

The RiD15 one is the one the one I'm leaning heaviest towards I think, specifically the repaint attached below. I'm not a fan of the face sculpt on the regular version, but this takes care of that with the remolded face mask. This version has the best jet mode imo and I really like the scabbard and sword that this one comes with, like the T30. There's really not much wrong with this one but it just doesn't have some of the things that really catch my attention with the previous versions
    apiiom46q__39385.1550284211.jpg

The Cyberverse one is kinda just a less cool RiD15 one so I'll just not bother with that one. The other 3 are all really strong contenders though and I wish there was one figure that combined the best of each version
