Hah, I feel that. I just went to Clackamas/Sunnyside Target, nothing on their walls, just a lone Cyberverse Shockwave fallen down on their lowest shelf… I was honestly surprised nothing was on their shelf at all, not even an Arcee.
Clackamas sells out of stuff the same day they get it in, so the pegs in my experience are usually empty. I’ve also heard one of the stockers there scalps shit so most of the good stuff never hits the shelves. The Target is so close in proximity to Rogue Toys that nearly everyone who goes there will always go to that Target and Walmart too. I’ve found stuff at both stores but you have to be there the minute they stock it. I just got a TMNT Ultimate Foot Soldier there the other day but I was there right as the worker put it on the shelf. They get so little stock for the amount of collectors in the area.
Well, that would explain a bit. I don’t go there that often because it’s not the closest Target to me, but when I had been there last there still had been a good amount of Cyberverse and Arcee’s there. Never actually heard of Rogue Toys, so I’ll have to look that up now, thanks.
It’s right down the road from the Clackamas Target! Super close to the Wal-Mart there. Their new stuff sells out quick but they usually have a lot of good, older stuff there, especially for Transformers. Worth a trip to look around for sure. They have started to get Transformers Selects in but they sell quick, you can also do ship to store from their site to save on shipping. That Target is my closest one (I live within walking distance) and the only time I have luck is if I can get there ASAP after the first sighting and it’s not something like GI Joe or Star Wars since those never hit the pegs. In general if I’m out hunting I just skip it altogether since 9 times out of 10 it’s completely picked over.
Also for everyone else, Selects Ramjet is on Rogue Toys website as in-stock, can use ship to store to Portland to save on shipping.
I had a bad experience with Mike, I think his name is, from Rogue. It happened at Rose City Comic Con when he blamed me for something he literally fucked up. Long story short if I walk in and see him there I get out of there. Fuck Mike. But there's another guy who I liked when I walked in. I didn't catch his name unfortunately. It was in early May the last time I was there, and we commiserated about our inability to get Cobra Island figures nor, at the time, find Major Bludd.
Mall 205 has 7 Origins Bumblebees left. They are in the aisle with the Bratz dolls for some reason, my fiancée almost missed them.
Are you kidding me… I went there this afternoon and only saw Iaconus and Shockwave. edit: What makes it even worse is I asked a clerk on the isle when their Transformers would come in next, and they said they won’t be getting much toy stock in general in because of the remodel.
Yea, my fiancée gave them the DPCI, they said they had 8 on-hand, they weren’t in the regular aisle. Worker asked around and they stuck them “in the aisle with the Bratz dolls not with the other figures” is what she texted me. Still 7 left there!
Unfortunately unable to swing by again tonight in time, so hopefully there’s still 7 there by the time I’m able to tomorrow. Still, Target… Why… just… I know there’s construction going on, but Bratz dolls? What is Target’s goal here? I mean, besides maybe prevent scalping?
Oh shit thanks man. Flew over there and picked one up. Still 6 left. Unfortunately I can't afford to help someone else right now. Didn't get a paycheck last weekend due to my vacation the previous week.
Managed to snag one myself this morning at 205 Mall, though wandered aimlessly looking for it for a bit before I had to ask a guy for help, but we went and found it. The guy actually was surprised that anyone put them there, sounded like he stocked the the Transformers isle the other day and put out those two charger Bumblebees that are still there. So they may end up back in their right isle, but I personally doubt they’ll be moved, just an FYI for anyone looking to go and grab one. Helpful tip, it’s on the bottom shelf where it currently rests, if you get as lost as I was.

So I ordered a set of 2 Tamashii act 4 stands from Amazon, and they sent me a whole case of 24 sets of 2 stands, so now I have 48 stands... I'm going to double check that they don't expect them sent back, but if not, would anyone here want to buy one for local pickup? They work well for Deluxe size TFs (maybe voyager too but I haven't tried that yet) and have a peg that works with most modern transformers and a claw for everything else. They come 2 to a box. Amazon listing
Tried using it yesterday and neither Esplanade not Tanasborurne Target had it. They had the display price out but no actual set
If anyone finds either Rodimus or Worlds Collide at Sunset Esplanade or Tanasborurne let me know because I'm very close to buying them off eBay
