Honestly, I think going to Kingdom size was a smart move. Hasbro hasn't shown interest in the Transmetal seasons and it's ripe for Kingdom collectors. I know it sucks for those that wanted MP, but there is hardly any 3rd party CHUG stuff anymore

eah, covid has been a bitch, but things are bouncing back, I'd expect the MPs will follow. However they released this OPOP under the BWM line, so it should be an MP scale. if they wanted it to scale with kingdom, release it under BWK... just say'n

 

Even without the MP Scale, it'll have the MP details and accessories and updates to be more like the show and less like the original toy. So I'm fine with it.

That being said, we'd better get an Optimal Megatron face to swap the faces and whatnot like the rest of the MP figures. Need a Covenant of Primus and maybe the BW matrix to go with it.

As far as TransArt is concerned, I wish we got a Transmetal Megatron and then Rattrap both show accurate than this one. Everyone seems to got after Optimal.

 

So this should be the height comparison between transart’s optimal optimus and JX megatron. It’s just too small.

 

Wow didnt even know this was being made, this is awesome. He is still kinda small for kingdom beasts, but seeing as scale isnt perfect in kingdom i think i will fit in pretty good. Hoping a primal prime follows.

Also how does he have molded maximal logos? I thought 3rd party companies cant use the faction symbols

 

Why do people assume he won’t be bigger? They still could or very well may, size him bigger. It’s not like he is shipped and the hands of collectors already.

 

They are going based on the size he’s listed as being. Could it change sure, but until it does. They list the product at a certain size so everyone is assuming that is their plan.

Because Transart stated the size it is? While of course they could change it, until they announce changes, this is what it'll be.

 

Yea already saw someone post that. It’s true. But they still have time to reverse course and I just think people need to calm down and see how the cards play out. But yea, you are right it is stated what size he will be, so far.

 

It has a price point and a prototype. They aren't upscaling it at this point in production.

Prototypes are usually 3D printed, so it's not like the mold is set. That said, I'm not saying they will make it bigger, but prototypes aren't meant to be final.

 

This is what I meant. Thanks I couldn’t word it any better for whatever reason my brain has left me. But yea, the place where my friend works makes prototypes of products all the time and he stated to me a prototype is never the end result. They make adjustments before producing the final product. With that said, I do agree it doesn’t mean they’ll make it bigger. If enough fans message them asking them to increase the size a couple inches, they may listen and do it.

 

A KO upscaled perfect effect gorrira has just been announced. He’s still slightly to short but taller than transart’s (28cm) so I may end up just getting him instead as I really like this design!

 

I still feel like there's potential for this figure since the shoulder canons are more accurate. There's no need for a huge canon backpack like the PE figure.

I'm definitely going to do a wait an see. Transart releases have been really solid, and the OS KO might be from BMB and their quality is a bit hit or miss

 

OH my goodness. I will have to buy this, I hope they make this "shiny" like the trans arts versions. Now what do I do with the FIVE Perfect Effect Gorriras that I currently have!!! (2 Primal Primes, 1 Nemesis, 2 Optimal Optimus) Serves me right for jumping the gun on the PE!

 

Yeah I don't care about scale but show accuracy. I prefer the look of the TransArt version and the functions therein.

 

Still hoping TransArt changes their mind and does a proper mp scale of this offering. Still holding out hope the 22cm height is for the beast mode and not the bot mode.

 

Agreed I’d rather go with Transart, but I need a big bot for me to care enough to buy.
