I tolerate emgo’s bad jokes because his transformations are so informative, perfect video instructions. The only thing I don’t like about his reviews is that he always goes from alt mode to bot (and BBBLLLOOOOOOOSSSHHHH!!!). And most of the time figures are shipped in bot mode. If there isn’t a JTI then I watch other reviewers to go from bot to alt because I’d rather fat finger blind transform a figure than try to follow his video backwards.

 

His bad jokes are part of his charm, dad humor. I can understand that he’s not for everyone.

Lately, he has transformation guides separately from his reviews for figures going in both directions.

 

That's TW Freedom Leader in Emgos MPM-12 Optimus video. Emgo gave TW FL a glowing review when it released despite it breaking during his first transformation. He didn't update his viewers until the recent MPM-12 review which is "strangely" a perfect replacement. Just "weird coincidences" that I noticed.

He only goes both ways (so to speak) in the JTI videos which he doesn’t have for the older figures (ex. FT bugs) but I always check his videos first because the transformation instructions are so good.

 

He does transformation from whatever mode is easier. I used to do the same thing. Just depends on which mode ends up a mess to snap into place in the end

That guy is a problem

 

I can't say I'm happy about it. Earlier on I had the impression the final car + trailer/Menasor skeleton would be the same price as Road King. Now we have to pay the inflated prices for the last car bot and combiner skeleton. Damn. That means $400+, easy. Might be more like $500.

I know I jumped into it early and committed, which is on me, but I still feel like it is kinda shitty that FT has drawn this out without more clarity on the end cost. The final price of this combiner is a little insane. No one is twisting my arm to buy it, but damn! Yanno?
