is it weird ,the silver tongue?

 

This is their transforming diorama right?

It's so odd how faithful their other statues are to G1 for this to veer away from it. From memory the prototype didn't wow me the way I thought it would.

 

By itself, no, but the fact that most of the head, including the inside of the mouth, is the same shade of silver makes it a bit strange. I would have done regular silver for the outer head, the light silver on the teeth for the tongue, and a gunmetal sort of color for the inside of the mouth.

 

Why does Grimlock have fangs?  Is he part vampire? LOL

i kinda wish the mid-transformation one was in full color too, but i get how that could've just muddled things. this is still fantastic looking, if a little bit cartoony in alt mode.

 

I like how they made it less.. messy. However unfortunately now it looks a little weird with the robot mode floating above.

I'll wait till we see some proper photos and maybe some turnarounds before writing it off.

 

All I see is grimlock in bot mode on top and Dino mode on bottom I don’t see nothing that resembles mid transformation anywhere nice statue looks more idw less g1 is more smooth edges idw is edgy almost realistic looking bots

 

darn, the description sounded much more cool...

I imagined a multi-step transformation depicted, not just both forms...

 

Why is he holding his sword with the longer cutting edge on the wrong side?
