I doubt it tbh. Its possible buuuuuuuuuuuut they rarely do repaints.

 

It's entirely possible they do toy colors since it's not the first time IDW Galvatron has been in those colors

Robot mode is cool, but recent IF transformations are so goddamn lazy. Lio Convoy, Bludgeon, Scourge, and now this... less of a transformation and more of a vague rearrangement of parts. Nothing positively clicks into place. Only thing that keeps me buying is the IDW aesthetic.

Look how sloppy this is. Straightening everything out shouldn't be such a manual process.

i will be pretty sad if they dont drop the Arcee recolor later.

 

I love that Legends have come so far and become so well designed that there are always multiple no mental about upsizing to no or chug scale.
You never see legends collectors (I don’t anyway as I don’t collect mp) say they need to downscale that to legends lol

 

Yeah, that cannon mode is pretty bad. The bot looks wicked though.

 

I’ll give the cannon mode a pass simply because Galvatron’s alt mode seldom looks that great. I’m in for this one because of the bot mode being so great looking.

I didn’t feel like Scourge was lazy though. It was simple but it is my favorite version of the figure and I thought the alt mode looked much better than whatever his G1 version was supposed to be.

 

Bot is looking good. Hoping IF revisits Arcee and designs her to match the rest of their 2.0 line.

 

Uh... by recent, do you mean scourge or ultra magnus? I thought they were pretty good

 

UM is pretty great - no complaints there. Scourge is probably not a great example since his shellformer design doesn't ever really get very complicated (although the SS86 version had some small tricks to it). A big "issue" with IF is that they went the posable hands route, so the hand sections rarely transform anymore. Is Tyrant Megs the last time they truly did? Lio Convoy's sort of halfway do but I can't think of any recent IF legends that have wowed me anymore.

 

Then don’t get it. Problem solved. I cannot wait to add this and cyclones to my legends idw collection

 

That face sculpt is looking like the or one of the best yet on a legends fig.
