From seeing the Prime robot mode image from the press event - I can say that the bumper grill was not something i noticed.

It definitely didn't stand out. Thinking back, it must sort of fold up so it sits behind the windshield as the lower torso was very similar to the Bee movie Prime just all silver without any red.

Really? you've seen it?.. wow... so they use bee movie prime as basic with only minor "repaint".. if that's the case.. I'm worried the bumper would be a detachable partformers in the toys :D

Hasbro is very seasoned in the subject of "making Optimus's grill disappear'', I'm sure they'll find somewhere to put this grill-guard.

Yes. He looks really good! A nice upgrade on the Bee movie design.

i could imagine the bumber grill forming a sort of rib cage like thing for the robot mode to emulate the look of the grill stomach

this is how Bee might look like later. It\'s weird bcoz I don\'t think I have seen this or that energon igniter prime (with the grill protection thingy) before. These are evidently starting to pop up after the ROTB announcement.

Do you have any pictures to go off of or a link to the press event?

I wouldn't exactly be surprised at this point if this was legit, it's not a bad truck whatsoever but that combination of hashtags makes me doubt that this is legit. :lol

I’m not 100% sure it’s legit but he uses those hashtags in all his posts, it’s to increase his reach and not immediately relevant to the subject in question

Ah, I see what you mean. That gives this a bit more credence then, it seems.

Edit: So upon doing a reverse image search I've only got two hits coming from Pinterest, it seems this may be just a real truck model with an accurate color scheme, you'll also notice there's no Autobot sigil on him. While looking I also found a picture of a very similar-looking truck.

Interesting. I haven’t seen anything else about it either. Maybe just a nice looking truck lol. That’s a shame

If he does get the long nose truck in the movie,

    G2 design and/or Armada.

    Come on.

I saw the images as I was invited to the virtual press event by Paramount. Unfortunately I don't have any images to share as they were all under NDA. I'm just going off what I remember and notes I made.

99.9% sure that Peterbilt has nothing to do with the movie. It's a 389, and those weren't introduced until they discontinued the 379 in (funnily enough) 2007.

But it's still a cool truck, and would make for a good Optimus with some more blue. I prefer the 379's headlamps, though.

I'm not sure if we are allowed to do that or not but I'm not really qualified to do such anyway. I've done videos on my YT Channel giving my best description of some of the characters that I saw and plan to do more in the future.

I'd recommend checking out @Lazlow007, he has created some fan art based on the characters from other peoples descriptions. :)

Hearing about how close Prime’s new bot mode is to the Bee Movie version makes me wish they would have waited to do MPM-12 and make it look like this new version. I’m also wondering if they will do a new MPM version using MPM-12 as the base.

The rumour was that MPM-13 was going to be rusty Camaro Bee from the 2007 movie and we still haven’t seen that one which is odd. I’m wondering if they are updating it to match the version from this movie. Clean paint with no rust etc. And I’m assuming it would be the normal version, not the monster truck version.
