I posted this in the Geek Out thread, but in case people aren't tracking that, T-Wrecks *is* available at retail...at least here in Minnesota.



I was able to purchase one using the Target app and choose "Pickup" meaning the store had stock.



My order was fulfilled at Midway Target in St. Paul, MN and I picked it up earlier today.







As of this post, the remaining stock hadn't been put out on shelves yet. But they're still available for order/pickup.

So they're in stores, just not out yet. YMMV on availability.

Also, since I used the app I was able to pair this with a Circle coupon for $10 off a toy purchase of $50.

 

How's that painted upper lip look in person?

 

Not all that bad really. Unless you're really staring at it I always see the grin first and need to look for the painted lip before I notice it.

Confirmed, just picked one up in store. He wasn’t on shelves but a very helpful employee nabbed him from the back and seemed shocked when I didn’t want both

Posted over in Virginia sightings that they had 3 on an endcap in Lynchburg this morning at 10. Not really feeling T-Wrecks enough to spend $53 so they are all still there.

 

They've been all over Minnesota since Sunday, as demonstrated by this thread the sighting article linked to despite not citing.

I dunno why, either, as people who were looking for it in store likely could have done and had an employee bring it to their car like I did days ago instead of having to drive around hunting for one.

Does that store get a ton of scalpers? I can picture the poor guy being used to people just grabbing a case and heading for the door.

 

Weird how it seems like they are hitting the Eastern half of the country first. I spoke to an employee and she said that they were just putting them out as the trucks got there because the section was so bare.

 

Snagged Wrecks online. Now here's hoping that I can either find Origins Bee and the WC pack in store soon, or they show up online for me to grab.

 

Man, there's a part of me that wants this, but between the wrong torso colors and the painted lips, it just makes me feel like I should save the $53 and put it towards other things I know I really want.

I really wanted T-Wrecks when leakers revealed his existence, since I love the original toy's color scheme, but this just misses the mark too much for me, and there's that cool Jurassic Park crossover coming out later in the year that I think will be a much cooler use of the mold.

 

This. It's cool, don't get me wrong, but just not quite enough. I might reexamine if he goes to clearance. He could lead Skywarp, Grimlock, and whatever odds and ends maximals we get, but not right now.
If I get any Target exclusives at this point it'll be Road Rage first, then Worlds Collide if I run across them. I'm not going to go hunting for them.

This is the store that frequently has a little old lady just dump entire pegs of Black Series and TVC figures into her cart, grabs sealed cases from the pallets and was yelling at an employee until they brought her all the deluxe ROTF Boba Fetts. Transformers gets hit hard by a couple guys who scan for Joes and wrestling figures too. You'll see the same cars every morning and guys out front with a sheet of barcodes to scan. I can only imagine what the poor employees go through there.

 

That's... kinda pathetic honestly. Those poor employees man, I felt horrible the one time I asked an employee to see if they had the Skywarp and Thundercracker set in the back. Thankfully as far as I can tell I don't get many (if any) scalpers around me.
