I always figured he was probably roughly the size of a small car, maybe similar scale to Jazz, but honestly if they start releasing core class figures in Studio Series and Scorponok is one of those figures Id probably still be pretty happy, providing that the robot mode is well proportioned and a bit more modernised, Id prefer a small deluxe version though, but Id also settle for a core class one if it was decent enough.

I would still want him to at least have an actual head thats different from the Scorpion head instead of just looking like a Scorpion standing up on two normal legs, it would be nice to see a robot mode design thats a bit more creative, not sure what they could do at core class scale in terms of engineering, but the current Kingdom core figures have been pretty fun, and I still love my 2008 legends scale Scorponok, even though his stinger crumbled into dust, the robot mode on that figure is honestly really well proportioned, and better than the 2007 deluxe figure, I just wish it had a separate robot mode head and maybe a shorter tosro.

I did hear rumours of core scale figures being introduced to the Studio Series line, but outside of that I know nothing of what characters might possibly be released, Id imagine Mohawk would be one though.

Wow split is your favorite? I don't think I've heard that before. Awesome! I'm sort of dreading getting split, since overly complex transformations aren't really my thing, and I've heard that you need to take the truck cab off to get him to stand well, but all three modes do look really good from what I've seen. Do you keep yours in head mode all the time now?

I've heard Skipjack will be releasing sooner rather than later actually, so hopefully you can get those stands for your combined mode soon! He's also my most anticipated member of the team. Way before I decided I was gonna get the whole team I was for sure gonna get Skipjack. Only thing is I wish the "tail" was longer and pointier, but how cool is it that there is a stand built into the robot mode so he can "stand" on his own? And he has MOTHERFUCKING ELBOWS :D

Oh and just curious, did your giant axe break at the same place that this one for sale at showz did? [Parts Not Working][Japan Buyer Only]Devil Saviour DS-02 Giant Axe Scavenger Troublemaker
How long would a figure have to be in there to accumulate all that frost? And why is it that color?

Picked up ROTF Soundwave a few weeks ago, mostly because he was on sale, and partly for the flight stand. Total rubbish, but he looks cool with SS DOTM Soundwave, the shared parts between them really helps show the evolution.

There needs to be a realization from these ko companies that a 15% os will be amazing sellers! Seriously, just a slight os and a few tweaks and paint apps here and there should do it.

    The hunt for Ladiesman217.

The news about the two packs got me to fiddle with my Barricade again. Not one of great SS figures admittedly.

Hard to say, but I can guarantee you that the figure's fingers are history.

The PS2/Wii version of the ROTF had a story so much better then the film itself.

Split's currently in his alt mode, then I might return all of them back in combined mode once I finish my paper hahahaha. I guess removing the cab at the mushroom peg would help his stability, but I never tried it since I think Split is fine as is, I slightly transform the back to better distribute the mass and when I display him in bot mode I either stick him on a stand or use the long arms as support. When I first got him he can stand fine on his own, but since I've transformed him for so many times now, his does a split if the table moves too much and he's simply standing with no support.

Btw, I have a few tricks and mods on how to transform Split easily, once you get yours, I'll be happy to share it if you want (I'm not sure if I shared it in the main DS thread).

Yeah, from what I've read in weibo, Sweeping is almost ready to be released. I hope it gets released in a month or two.
Oh yeah those elbows, god, I love how they took the SS mold and sprinked some DS magic on that design. I also love how they incorporated highly articulated and extended tread whips, and how the excess length folds in under the alt mode.
I was also kinda disappointed how stumpy the tail looks, they could have added the folding thingy under the built-in stand like what the MT OS version did, I guess I'll just have to pretend that the rest of his tail is underground or something hahaha.

And yes, that's how my Giant Axe broke huhu.

Took me a month to develop a fix for that hinge.

First I tried to attach the snapped off hinge again with plastic cement and reinforce it with a steel pin. It worked for a few weeks but the hinge was so loose, the part was flopping all over, so I tried to tighten the hinge with clear coat. IT SNAPPED CLEAN AGAIN.

For my 2nd Attempt, I removed the pin, looked for a screw with appropriate dimension, heated it a bit, then I shoved it to the hole in the panel, then I forcibly screwed it in the hole connecting to the main tread. Good as new, the broken part is barely noticeable.

Yeah that'd be awesome thanks dude!
I actually have a junker SS Rampage and I was wondering if I could take the end of the tail for that one and mod it to fit on the end of Sweeping's tail but I'm not sure yet (since I don't have Sweeping yet obviously) if that'll work. You're right that the stand part could have doubled as extra tail length, that would have been smart!
Dude that SUCKS! I hate it when you think you've gotten something figured out then it breaks again. That happened to one of the smoke stacks on my UT Challenger. Fortunately my second attempt was WAY more stable.

Oh definitely, just like the PC version of ROTF it gave Sideways and Starscream more presence and the fight with Devastator was very enjoyable even though it felt like a GOW boss fight.

The fight with The Fallen was laughably easy though, it made the fight in the actual movie look balance.
