Agreed, if it’s cheap then great I’ll swap out. If it’s not, then it’s a bit of a slap in the face unless they are going to make the updated head/face available to purchase for early adopters of the original.

I'm not sure this is a reissue, since this is released by robot hero, the same company that made OS MP starscream quite long time ago, which means this probably is improved KO. Surprising to see them popping up again after being dead silent for so long tho.

 

Imagine if they managed to fix the chest tabbing issues?!

 

Even if they don't, nail polish does a good job on that.

 

Looks nice. A bit too late for me, since I've been through a few Springers and settled on Apache, but Big Spring was always a nice figure in need of more polish, and if they keep the price modest, this would be a worthy addition to anyone's MP shelf.

However... Will someone PLEASE make another MP Sandstorm already?! How many bloody Springers do we seriously need?

Looks like the price translates to just under $50 which means probably somewhere in the $70-80 range for US buyers. That's not bad. I like this figure well enough but always hated the face and I'm not big on the seam in the middle of his chest - the way the plastic shaped, it kinda doesn't fit as well as I'd like. If RH's version looks good enough (new face and metallic plastic/paint are already significant improvements but I mean if the chest fits together better) and the price isn't too high, I'll get him. Springer never was a very important character to me, though, so I've mostly been content with the OP version standing in the back of my TFTM shelf.

 

Just new face and new colours makes huge difference.   ( deja vu  )

 

I had a lot of fun with the OP Big Spring. I will certainly be getting this when I can. I was actually going to get another Saltus that I could be rougher with for photos but I think this will do just fine!  

I really considered an Apache but decided to just hold off on the very slim chance (IMO) that XTB would come out looking better than what we had seen.

 

I think they keep that tab being loose for the ab crunch, which is still seen in recent Robot Hero's photos

 

I want to see that face. Maybe it can be bought separately.

 

Assuming this is indeed the intention, they should at least do something so that we don't accidentally "deploy" the ab-crunch everytime we move his arm or shoulder.

So? Do you think KOs of Hastak products owe you when they upgrade things because you bought the official? This is a KO of Big Spring, not a rerelease.

 

Yeah and so did I. Even if this is an O&P release they owe us nothing. Not a damn thing.
