Plastic on the original feels kind of thin, but hasn't broken on me yet.

 

I'm honestly really not a fan of it, but it does look nice in alt mode.

 

Yeah the plastic is what worries me...

 

Have there been any reports on the plastic breaking on some of the copies?

 

Not really sure but I just know from experience that I hate touching my AOE figures because they feel like KO’s. The plastic in 2014 was super cheap feeling.

 

We're definitely going to need Hasbro to make that handsome green creature in the bottom corner of the photo.

Looks like the info I had was outdated and there is indeed a 3rd set in the case assortment.

So I wonder which set got double packed?

So far the Bee v Barricade set is my favorite of the bunch. Really really bummed we're not getting a new figure of High Octane Bee, though

SS-27 Clunker Bumblebee and SS-28 Barricade
Damn, if I knew this was coming than I would’ve grabbed Sideswipe instead during that random Walmart restock a while back. And of course, still no Frenzy.
I still have no idea why Hasbro decided to completely cover Clunker Bee's cannon in paint. One of the strangest arbitrary deco changes.

SS-79 High Octane Bumblebee and SS-02 Stinger
SS-79 is an aoe re-release. We've known it was coming, but still, whhhhyyyyyyyy?

SS-18 BB Bumblebee and SS-46 Dropkick

Definitely want this set the most. Dropkick is still missing from my collection, and I do want BeetleBee, despite the issues I've heard about.

So we still haven't seen the Blitzwing and Jeep Bee two pack, huh? Wonder if any others are coming.

 

I'm liking all of the packs, although the choice to reuse the original HO Bee instead of a new mold is baffling to me, especially given rumors of a new one in normal SS. I'm tempted to pick up the Clunker/Barry pack and the Beetle Bee/Carkick pack, maybe the HO/Stinger if I can't find normal Stinger for a good price and a hypothetical PF W2 doesn't get to him first.

I think the ROTF Preview's still my favorite Deluxe Bee, if only for nostalgia's sake (PlusI do like the headsculpt, the more accurate cannon, and the more accurate wing placement compared to other Bees). SS49/74 may tie with him once I get him though, he looks really good.

 

Oh dang I actually kinda need another car Dropkick for something I may pick that one up.

 

I have a Barricade laying around but cut a small hole in the window part of the arm, so that it looks like a built in weapon.


And he also came with a broken piece in the abdomen area.

Wish it was a new mold of HO bumblebee, the gun is total ass. Makes me wonder the thought process. New jolt figure? Love it, But i'd just take dotm jolt... if it was one or the other. Now im thinking if they'll just release Dotm figure Que in SS.

 

Happy for those filling in gaps in their collection. Now i hope they do Bee Ironhide, bee ss32, bee ss38. So are we geiing a new HO Bee in the future?

 

That gap is part of the mold. It's there so the weapon can be stored in vehicle mode, otherwise it wouldn't fit. It sucks that he has a gap in the chest just for that tbh.

 

Here's my finished SS Scrapper! Had a lot of fun with this one, although I had to make my own model wash since my panel liner didn't survive the trip over here. Still happy with it though!
