    * Cue the ominous music that plays when they show Unicron moving through space towards a planet he's about to devour *

Don't think I'll be playing the Defensor game. Though I said that about Superion and Menasor too....

At least there is plenty of time to figure that out, Defensor is a ways out.

Hi all I've recently upgraded to the larger wings but still haven't transformed Unicron into planet mode. Does anyone know the diameter in planet mode with the larger wings? Thanks

I have both haslab and Cell. Both are really fantastic figures and are no way in true competition with each other. Haslab is my mancave’s ultimate centerpiece. Friends and family see that and are just stunned. It’s an impressive piece of collectibles and transformers history. Cell is on display with legends figures, threatening the surface of Cybertron. While not as visually “wow” as Haslab, he still looks the part and feels like a unicron. Hating on one or the other is just wasted energy and needless tribalism.

should have seen the look on my insurance agent’s face when I updated my coverage to account for several of my recent purchases. Lol

if you have the larger wings… cant you just put them together (planet mode) and see for yourself? In fact, all you need to do is extend one of them fully open and you will have your diameter.

I don't own it (yet), but looking around, it seems that the planet diameter goes from 10" / 26cm to 15.75" / 40cm when using the upgrade kit.

Diameter is around 18". 19" if you include the little spikes that stick out from the rings.

Here's a ruler held at 9" for an idea.

Thanks very much. I really like the acrylic stand. Is there a consensus as to the best video to watch for transformation? I usually default to Emgo but if there are others worth watching that would be great. Regards

Take a look at Peolesdru's stop motion video someone posted back 2 pages 587, very easy to follow all the transformation steps.

That ruler just rocketed me back to junior high, more of a nostalgia trip than any Transformer has ever caused.

I'm getting to the point where I'm about to cave and buy this. I don't care what version, as long as it's more affordable. The $299 makes Pumpkin work for me. I'd buy a used one, but prices for the used one are worse than the brand new ones in some cases!

I feel you. Im REALLY regretting not getting the original when it was first up for order, but money was tighter and wasnt sure I needed it. Now the recolor has a good price but im not sure I can go for those colors and be 100% happy.
