Hand and elbow for sure. Assume others are hidden by the sculpt. Edit: actually can see ankle joints also.
I’ve been wondering how they will do castle greyskull if/when they get to it. I’m hoping for a rerelease/remold of the classics version. I don’t hate the 200x version because I respect the limitations of when it was released, but I want to see something much bigger than that.
Got mossman and skelegod allready out of hype. I cancelled skeletor and Evelin after seing the show. I kept the pre-orders for he-man and battlecat, because i don't have an modern version of him. In the past i never skipped out of good toys because the show was crap. But in the past, even if the show was bad it did not destroy my heroes like this piece of garbage had to do. So yes it will impact what i buy severely, it's the only way you can make a stand. Teela is a definately no buy, just like her new "friend", they can go the rose tico and holdo way. I will not buy anything more, have to stick to my principels. I wish for a line with the 200x versions with modern articulation, that show had everything, not a caracter in it i did not like. It's was absolute design perfection.
Yeah I think some dry brush and matte coat will fix him right up, at least that's my plan going into come 2022 Idk I doubt it but if all you want is the 80s classic looks this won't help sway you any I love the new design Teela, love the new Lyn Lyn figure as well, never liked their classic designs anyways or that their hair was up or covered, the only modern designs I didn't like was the technology ones, those I'll def be skipping on but there's a lot that I love outside of those and I'm not a He-man toy fan, can't stand loincloth designs but hey that's just me
I personally like the side smirk/smile face myself. Also kinda not derail this thread, I found out MOTU classics have almost the same size ball joint for the head.
Some really strong show opinions.... Spoiler: SO..... It's obvious Kevin Smith is limiting He-Man's screen time during the first half of season 1; however, I'm sure the second half will rectify that concern. Therefore, Is it really that bad? It's certainly a unique take on the characters but not necessary a bad one. On a side note, I agree that calling it a sequel to the 80's show was a bit disingenuous because the 80's show 100% revolved around He-Man. This show seems focused on flushing out side character's first before bringing the big guy back.
I agree. I really liked it. I had to keep watching because the story was actually interesting and I wanted see more. Spoiler I don't mind having it center around side characters personally. And I actually liked Teela in this. Genuinely confused about complaints over her character. Wouldn't you be pissed if your best friend/potential lover had a big secret they were keeping from you and you only found out upon their death? That would hurt bad. And He-Man was the center of it all. Everything went to shit without him.
Spoiler: Show opinion I thought the Netflix show was good…I feel like they captured the essence of the Filmation characters… Skeletor was perfect (when he was on screen) Evil-Lyn / Beastman- were standouts for me outside Skeletor….it pleased me…that in the final episode they end up at Skeletor’s side.
I'm just waiting for them to spill the beans on Teela, like so many moments of nope not yet ugh that's the one problem I had oh and Spoiler All the damn deaths like WTF?!? Moss-man though his was kinda cool and he made out in the end, then they killed Orko and I was like @#$% this #$!+, he finally grew into himself and lived up to his name all the while slowly dying, and finally Roboto blows up and gains humanity, @#$% you Kevin Smith for making me feel so bad for the character deaths
Spoiler: More Show stuff I think we will be seeing Orko again….I did not feel like that was a death scene Also side nugget - loved how Evil-Lyn disguised herself as the old lady- such a call back to the original series - was happy that the bad guys were still for the most part bumbling idiots
No new toys but plenty of new tags at my target this morning. Here’s some pictures if it helps anyone.
Spoiler I mean Roboto could technically be rebuilt, I'm sure it was the spark of magic that was embedded in him to reforge the sword that gave him humanity anyways so that's no big loss, as for Orko, I hope not but I just don't know, it was one of those moments where, you finally live up to your name and that usually means death in cartoons, but yeah he could very much be alive. Something I pondered, He-Man never died, and when Adam died he picked his Adam side to enter heaven, so when He-man does die I think that's the side that will enter heaven, I mean there's the debate btwn King Grayskull and Mossman on that but still
Yeah, just saw that. What's interesting is that they aren't slated to ship until October? That seems like it's pretty far out. Though sometimes Wal-Mart preorders have shipped super early so we'll see. Went ahead and preordered just in case they show up earlier than my BBTS.
