I agree. The Walmart link says 6.5 in scale. Might be a decent placeholder until we get a lightning collection one.
Well, I'm glad to be wrong. So glad. I pre-ordered Ninjor so fast that my screen and finger tip are both smoking... Also, any truth to this?
Do we know how tall the megazord is? For some reason it looks pretty small to me in these photos, which would actually be a plus in my opinion.
I bought the Ninjor because, well, why not? I don't have one and, even after shipping, only cost me $20. I'd love to have a larger version eventually, though.
Was watching a few more episodes of MMPR and I really hope the Monster line is not cancelled. Was just thinking that they should do Knasty Knight and Snizzard next.
Those two have been on my list since the line was first announced. I've still got the old Knasty Knight figure, but it would be nice to have something that isn't practically a brick with an inaccurate sword. However, it would be nice if they would tackle some monsters from other seasons/series after Eye Guy. I'd like them to at least do two monsters from each season.
MMPR model kits from Flame Toys! Looking good, but I don't know how much they'll rely on paint or stickers. Also close-up pic of the Megazord prototype: https://www.taghobby.com/archives/552240
I’d still get that Retro-Morphin Ninjor. I had the original so it basically being a Legacy version is good enough.
I hope not. Not until Kyuranger gets adapted (like it should’ve been instead of Ryusoulger/Dino Fury) then IDGAF
Ew, no. Kyuranger is highly emblematic of the bit that's really making me wonder where Hasbro's going to take the brand in the future. All these simplistic, gimmick-laden mecha with "cutesy" design features that don't match to Western tastes and sensibilities. They skipped the hell out of that because who the hell is gonna buy that gumball machine robot? Especially since they'd have to gut the electronics and thus remove any remote appeal the toy could have had.
Kyuranger was specially made for western sensibilities though, BOA worked with them to make a easy to market Megazord and then got shuttered before they could bring it over. Kyuranger was 100% aesthetically made with the USA in mind
I thought BOA’s input was limited to the suit designs. At least that’s what I recall being said. I agree with my-01 archon, those mecha were awful looking. Still I would have liked to have seen Kyuranger used to bring back alien races from past series. Specifically the Aquitians, Edenites, and Eltarans.
Are people still spouting this split nonsense without proof? ANyway, Kyuranger is one of the worst atrocities to ever happen to Super Sentai, which is why I would love to see a Power Rangers adaptation as they could probably turned dogshit to gold like they had done when going from Go-Onger to RPM. And I've heard Dino Fury has been quite good, so it sounds like they've struck lightning twice, which means the third attempt with Kyuranger would probably become their best work ever.
As much as I've been waiting for a new Ninjor figure, I will wait for a potential Lightning Collection assuming they don't mess it up. It's still a solid-looking figure considering it's part of a gimmick line. The sculpt is overall good and I like the shinier shade of gold compared to a lot of LC. It's a little understandable that they didn't paint his head crest but the gold triangle under his neck? It didn't need to be sculpted at all but since they did, it should have straighter sides. Also it's a HUGE shame it isn't painted in. As it is, it looks like Ninjor just won an event at the Olympics.
Nope it was very much to the mecha design too, which is why it’s so simple with the transformations, so it would be easier for BOA to bring over and import without much change. BOA was tired of simplifying deisgns. Also if you really look at the figures it’s easy to tell where all the zorbuilder ports would go
