so i recently had second thoughts about this guy. I had pre-ordered Toro because i didnt like the weird proportions and the bizarre waist on hellion. But then i resaw the backpack on toro. JEEEEZZZZZ. Supposedly its not as bad in hand.

For some bizarre reason i had prepaid some of my preorder so im happy with toro for the time being. Especially as Parkour doesn't sound like he has any ETA. So I'm thinking at LEAST a year away. Ive only been collecting less than a year which feels like a lifetime already. But the mini car doesnt bother me, especially if it means not huge backpack like toro....

 

It is just as bad in hand. BUT you don't see it when he's posed facing forward on a shelf.

Decent figure to go with the original Bee imo, and I'm really picky about XTB products.

Takara Bee looks really bad. I own it. It’s really missing a dozen or so steps to fix the feet and backpack. Idk what’s going on with them but they settle for almost good enough. I’ll wait for Parkour for Cliffjumper if this is what Takara is thinking will pass for an MP these days.

I love my Starscream though. Had to work on the ankles by replacing the pins for screws but now he’s perfect.

 

wonder if this causes FT to cancel or shelve, or release as "robot paradise"

 

I'm leaning towards this being legit, because if this KO company was ambitious enough to tool all new parts for the Bumblebee mold, I would think they would try and replace some of the copious clear plastic. Using that much clear plastic seems like a total Hasbro/Takara move.

That being said, I'm down for an official Cliffjumper and would buy it as well as the FT version.
