The Dino Megazord / Daizyujin

 

It's FlameToys' redesign of the original MMPR Megazord (Daizyujin).

It doesn't transform into a mammoth, it's just one of its five components. Its legs are a sabertooth tiger and a triceratops. Its thighs and torso are a tyrannosaurus. The mammoth forms the arms, with the face becoming a shield. And normally, the pteranodon forms just the chestplate, but FT have redesigned it to also form wings (that the robot never used to have) and the sword (which used to be just a loose accessory).

 

yeah not, what I've seen is how 8 or 10 guys on twitter hated Windblade because they were literally jealous of her body or they hated how sexy she was (every single comment was against her butt, (I think that the wings issue was the last excuse that they used) and started to spam Hasbro's twitter with threats and saying that they want to sell NSFW figures to kids and how they hate women(?) FlameToys kits aren't for kids, they're licensed by Hasbro, just like how they licensed Bishoujo statues, and they AREN'T for kids, there are no real arguments, just excuses and rage against the prototype, and I'm glad that Flametoys didn't post the new pics on twitter, they're safe for now

He has some extra stuff to move his arms around that wasn't there before.

I think any dynamic poses will be hard without the stand. As while his knee joints are strong, the backpack makes him very back heavy. Took me a bit to get him to stand without his knees giving back due to the weight.

 

I wonder why it's based off the Legends toy from a few years ago instead of...you know, Beast Wars cartoon Blackarachnia. Seems like a strange choice to make.

Bansanv drew his version of Arcee, Blackarachnia and Windblade off of recently released toys at the time. For Blackarachnia this was the Legends version, while Arcee was the T30 version and the SDCC black redeco.

Yay!  Long overdue!!  Bludgeon and Banzaitron look amazing.  Great choices since they don\'t transform anyway  

 

I’ve avoided it for that reason.

 

Star Saber's stand definitely helps.

Sweet.. the paintjob is the best i have thus far from the kuro kara kuri lineup, those shades of red and orange make the the details pop.

Pre-order is probably several weeks away... Wallet about to get nuked once again.

 

I'll be honest, seeing Bludgeon with individual toes really kills the whole thing for me.

The idea of him having the sandals is cool, but I would have preferred if his feet were designed to look more like tabi. Only because seeing individual toes on a robot like that is very unsettling.

 

That looks awesome. I need better and more images asap.
