Considering I collect both of those lines too if it's something else I want it really changes nothing. I mean... there are a LOT of lines I'm collecting right now so I'm planning on checking every day this "Wal-Mart Con" is ongoing.
I’m looking at that “Ninjor” silhouette and am noticing a couple things. First, it looks like the figure might be facing away from the viewer. Not really relevant I guess. Second, what I can tell from the edges, it seems to be a simplified sculpt. I’m thinking, if it is Ninjor, it might actually be part of the flip head line. Weren’t there rumors of a flip head Ninjor coming or am I misremember some fan speculation?
Looks pretty damn badass. Really impressive how the component parts all seem proportionately smaller than their sum. The mastodon really compacts given how big the arms are.
SPD Green arrived from Amazon today: The paint job on the figure itself is immaculate, but they forgot to paint the white lines on the SPD license. Why is it so hard to paint these licenses with consistency? Fortunately, I had an extra license lying around from my Blue that broke, but now I need two new ones for Pink and Yellow (as I doubt Yellow is going to have hers painted properly).
I've been wanting Ninjor but it'd be a shame if he's exclusive. Hope they don't screw him up. I was going to comment when he was revealed but Pudgy Pig looks FANTASTIC. I do have a minor issue with the lack of hands, something the original toy, Funko Pop, and Super7's has but if those photos are what he looks like in hand, wow. Now this is worth $30 if it was a retail release. Oh, it's exclusive? Okay, a little price increase is expected. Let's see the damage. Wait. What? $58? Disgusting... Hasbro should get blasted with comments until they reconsider the price. The Drakkon exclusive was horrendous at $50 with that nonsensical box and still inaccurate Red Ranger helmet but what is that lunchbox made of? Power Coin material? Even if it came with the props in those photos $58 is way too much. Despite the unique accessories, they couldn't even be bothered to include more specific ones like the radish sandwich/sub that defeated him or the comically large sushi. I guess Hasbro needed to make some money back on how poorly Sphinx and Rapper sold and a good-looking Pudgy Pig was how to do it. 1 for the price of 2! Act now!
Relax, not a Lightning Collection Ninjor. Power Rangers Retro-Morphin Ninjor Fliphead Action Figure Inspired by Mighty Morphin - Walmart.com - Walmart.com
Ninjor does look really good... Best of the retro morph figures by far. And really scratching that nostalgia itch transforming like the original. Tempting...
