So… nothing new? Well, at least that Ark display with the 84 & 85 Autobots is really cool.

For anyone wondering why Hasbro seemed to randomly throw up an announcement about Grindor, Jolt, Bee + Sam, and Thrust this past Sunday...here's why:

    upload_2021-7-22_10-22-3.png

Unless I'm mistaken, this would have been our first time seeing any of them in any official capacity. Hasbro got ahead of the display so when these pics went up people outside Japan would know what they're looking at.

We go through this every year. These minor events that Hasbro US has nothing to do with happen, and people expect a bunch of reveals. Predictably nothing happens, and people get mad at Hasbro for something they have no involvement with

It is kinda funny how stuff gets revealed/announced in other regions and people in the US get mad as if we have first claim on seeing stuff.

Well at least the only thing worth getting announced got leaked so that made up for this.

Man, I know there\'s nothing new displayed here, but this gets me SO excited that we\'re slowly getting back to cons and TF displays. I have truly missed this. This is THE way to reveal and announce new figures. What a good time.

    I guess...kinda.

I've enjoyed getting more frequent looks at new stuff outside of panels, and the direct to camera style of the Fan Fridays (and other streams) have been a welcome change of pace. If they do go back to this format once it's safe to do so, I hope they'd still set up an official streaming channel to broadcast it. Similar to that ER reveal panel last year that first showed off Wave 2, Dealer, and Lynx.

The one-on-one conversational nature of the FFFs are also really neat for getting a bit more info about the details of the various figures. For as much info as can come from a panel, it's not quite the same as Mark being able to hold up the figure and point out details or smaller points of articulation.

Heck, if we were in the old panel days I don't think Mark has the opportunity to show off his custom Fossilizer Combiner. And those kinds of things go a long way to helping sell product.

There's value in being able to let fans watch directly rather than having to get their news from constantly refreshing various sites. Especially when they can get HD screens of new stuff rather than pics of a projected image later followed by slides.

There appears to be a voice-activated ... replica of The Fallen's head, odd but an interesting idea for a collectible, I'm curious if there will be more in this line.

    "Headmaster series".

    Weird... anti-American sentiment from non-Americans...

U could ignore the dumb comments, rather than attack fan nationality, but then this wouldnt b an internet forum! :D  For what it's worth: I dont think American TF fans hate u in the same way! :)

Man I missed these. In-hand reveals excite me more than Amazon listings or stock pics.

alright so, starting to get worried...

In PrimeVSPrimes review, the BW Megatron looked like its claw hand was working in reverse, so instead of pulling the lever to launch it out, you'd push the lever to move the hand back in...

It looks like the one on display here also has that issue, the hand is resting neutral at the fully extended position. Maybe i dont understand exactly how this mechanism works, but it looks like both our display unit here and PvP's copy had faulty claw hands.

I've really been looking forward to this reissue, but if the claw is toast, im not interested. Someone please tell me that this is normal, and the claw is fine, cause when it defaults all the way out that arm looks terrible.
