I have assumed it was she was a female, a foreigner, lgbt, religious, or someone questioning her faith. But now I understand that it's because she comes from a planet where everybody uses melee weapons for in-universe reasons and she's just there with integrated wrist blasters looking like Megaman.

 

The whole deal with the wreckers is that they are made up of people suffering from some kind of neuroticism or mental/physical issue that allows them to be expendable, or at the very least reflect the type of practice that already exist in hiring for black ops agents in the real world. If Aileron and Hot Shot get to be Wreckers then being a \"Wrecker\" has lost all meaning beyond being a team of cool dudes.

 

Also Lawrence's art has no bite to it and never has.

A Facebook group's been having some fun with it. Not gonna say which one though to keep my name and face a secret.

 

So I saw this and some of the replies and thinking I had missed something I went back and actually looked for the negative posts. So I saw one reply saying they thought it was Crasher but was (maybe) disappointed. 1 Saying "I hope she gets killed" or something to that effect. One saying Boooo and another pointing out how she might have plot armour due to being a fav of the creative team. The overwhelming majority were all along the lines of "who is that?"

So two posts that I think are a bit weird but feels like the vast, vast majority of people just don't know who she is. I don't think after 15 pages that justifies the use of "all" more like What's with the tiny percentage of posts.

When I first read this I thought you were attacking me and I had somehow offended you LOL but after a re read I thought na, that's just me jumping to conclusions and now I see you are just generally asking. Anyways to answer your question. first, I am not a big comics guy, never was , even when I was young the only comics I read was GI JOE and Transformers which ended long ago ( old marvel continuity ) . So I don't read comics now ( nothing against anyone who does, I enjoyed it when I did and encourage those who enjoy it now to do so ) well, OTHER than the one they did recently----- Transformers 84------ and I bought the TPB for that. So basically I am an old continuity comics guy. Not saying the new stuff is bad or good as I haven't read them, I am just not interested. I popped in to check out Minerva and was happy to see her.

I am 100% behind this new comic. Absolutely nothing wrong with having a new lineup once in a while. And I doubt that it will stay like this for long since Impactor, Roadbuster, the Jumpstarters, Springer and Whirl are all big name Wreckers that they'll definitely be bringing in at some point. The premise will definitely lead to some interesting story ideas.

Also, can somebody please add Ironhide and Warpath to the Wreckers lineup at some point? With them being some of the more trigger happy Autobots, I'm surprised that they've gone this long without even being considered

Why don't you tell us what you like about Aileron?

I agree the franchise repeats personalities, given that the Dreamwave profile books gave personalities to the hundreds of characters that existed in G1, it's a shame they don't go past the dozen more generic ones they usually throw out.
