I love him. Tigatron was one of the first Beast Wars figures I bought on my own. Always held a special place in my collection. I'm gonna need two of these, and a Selects orange version, please.
While I appreciate the color tones, I would prefer he didn't have them. Maybe it will look better in person. I am really shocked at all the people commenting how they skipped the prior Kingdom Beast Wars characters. These are some really, really, REALLY good toys to decide you don't want to have.
Here's hoping! This will mark the first time I've had all of the season 1 Maximals without having to resort to subbing in repaints (never had the regular Rhinox, just Fox Kids) and in a consistent scale. It's truly a great time to be a BW fan. Plus, one benefit of the yellow on Tigatron is that years from now, actual yellowing will look less distracting haha Nope, he's a new mold that is inspired by the engineering of Cheetor, much like the Classics Starscream inspired ER Starscream
Tigatron look awesome! I am looking forward to getting him. That being say, I hope Takara make a Lio Convoy retool out of him.
Mold looks solid but that pre-yellowing isn’t working for me at all. I’m hoping that we’ll get the bengal tiger colors version with a mutant head from the Golden Disk collection.
He looks really good. Not the biggest fan of the yellowed tufts though. I see what they were trying to do, but it looks like the toy was left out in the sun for a month. Perhaps a very light dry brush effect around the edges would've been more subtle and effective.
Takara LOVES Lio Convoy, probably even more than any other BW character. If they make a toy of him it most likely will be its own mould.
Lio Convoy needs his own figure with a good Lion mode. If Tigatron gets retooled it will probably be Prowl to go with Skybolt seeing how we won’t be getting a proper Magnaboss next year or whenever.
Eh, I don't think that will happen either since Prowl would be repainted into Lio Junior and Lio Junior is supposed to be short.
