You already stated in the thread this was overpriced, so why are you making out like you had intentions of buying it now and just changed your mind? Bit weird.

Playing devils advocate here, but I think we’ve all complained that a toy was too expensive or not worth the price and wound up buying it anyway because we love this stuff

Would be interesting, if the molds and etc are done, would be leaving money on the table to not do repaints and etc.
maybe 2.0 versions with ratchets/pins one day.

I dunno. I’d rather he go further on his list of characters planned before going back to the well and redoing an older one.

He still needs to have his Tarantulas, Waspinator, and Silverbolt made (he did those head keychains based on the heads for his upcoming planned figs). And orders for scorponok

Shipping came to over $50 for me so consider your price a bargain in comparison.

I just hope he ships Inferno and Terrorsaur before putting this up for sale. I know he said he’s going to, but he said that about Terrorsaur.

(I still have two more payments on Terrorsaur and a bunch of other things preordered for July/August….Everything hitting at once)

Anyone know the size of those keychain heads? I'm kinda interested in buying one to replace the head on my OG Mega-sized Scorponok. Not sure if the scale is right or not.

This guy has pinned joints in addition to the ball joints. The hardware game is slowly getting better, lol.

If the others ship successfully I might be tempted by that scorponok. His original toy sucked and that character was so integral to S1 of BW lol.

In case anyone was wondering, Dave replied back and said the Scorponok head specifically is 12.5 mm tall x 11.3 mm wide. I went ahead and ordered one. We'll see how it turns out.

I can’t wait until people actually start posting their products. I’ve preordered both Infernus and Terrorsaurus. Excited to get them.

The ones he showed on his FB that were ready to ship were referred to as the second batch, but there’s nobody posting on any of his pages (Instagram, FB for DSFX, FB for David Lee) about having one on the way (from the first batch or this second one). Every post he’s had about this says that people will be notified when their stuff is ready to go out + all of those posts have people asking “Am I one of them?” “Am I next?” Not one person saying they have one coming/that they were notified. You’d think one of those four people would be excited enough to say something.

And if he made 100 orders and takes a few weeks for every four-to-five figures, that would push the entirety of the infernus orders to the end of the year or even early 2022. All of the people who preordered right away will be reaching their six month window for PayPal refunds in September. I preordered both figures in July. I’m good until Jan. That’s still a little concerning.

I put $400 into these projects. I just want my money to turn into something.

I think people posting these would put my mind at ease a bit. To be honest, I am geared up to request a refund when we hit September because I can't in good conscience keep the pre-orders open beyond the paypal protection window which, as you correctly state, will expire in September (on 22nd Sept if you happened to order on day one like myself). I REALLY want them, but not enough to bet the $400 on it without any cover.

Youre the first person I’ve seen post anywhere with an actual in hand product, aside from that miniature he gave away as a contest (I’m referring to FB, his FB pages, Instagram, Message boards, etc…).

    That’s a lot more reassuring

I was a late Infernus preorder (cancelled my first when all that craziness popped off) and got back into it in July. So I’m safe until Jan.

So as of today the Etsy store is not taking any orders for anything. This is either 1) A good thing that what is said is in fact happening, or 2) the beginning of the end here.

I paid for mine before the etsy shop was running, so I'm in on this without any paypal protections. Hopefully this will go well...
