Looks like it, but I can't say I mind that. The arms, in general, aren't that great in my opinion, the shoulder pads don't rotate with them, the arms are too long, the joint at the elbow extends a bit too far causing a gap, all that truck kibble, and the big hands. If this arm can remedy most of those issues it'd be worth a whole arm replacement imo

Really impressed with this. While I don't buy upgrade kits at all, since I find most unnecessary, I gotta recognize they're getting more and more complex.

Anyway, I dread imagining how much they're gonna charge for this. Having a vague idea how upgrade kits are priced, this looks like it might cost as much, if not more than the figure itself.

Ah, good point. The make it or break it for this figure is who is making it, because this kit could probably cost half the figure

    Also, arm comparison:

Well if the KO does something like this so I'll have hope for this figure. I thought those arms were hard to fix but it isn't like I thought

If there's a KO with this fix, it could outsell the authentic issue.

Nice to see it fixes the shoulder movement and the cat ears, but the forearm panelling it's just as bad if not worse.

Double hinges on the panels are the devil if not carefully folded properly or you'll get stress marks guaranteed or a broken hinge. I always keep forgetting and MP44 made me pay that price, sure as hell I won't forget now.

So the kit uses the same technique of MP44 arms? Did it have many breakage cases?

MP44 has double hinges on the panels covering both sides of the cab which are then folded into the legs. And there's d-hinges on the inner legs closer to the thighs, broken them too.

So this kit for MPM12 should be fine as long you bend at the hinge from the side closer to your hand preferably, in an gentle "L" shape before considering collapsing the panels together whilleynilley haha. Mainly just feel it out.

I mean, the arms are less bulky. And no cat ears!

Hope it’s picked up by an actual 3p company and isn’t an independent kit. Things going to be more expensive than Optimus if it’s independent...

Same could be said for hands. Want better hands, get one of the other versions :p .
