I would hope to see Tap-Out.

Edit: Taking Goose's image and mangling it with a hue adjustment:

And, even though I kinda like it, knowing the orange won't be for everyone:

Cheers, guys. @ThatGuyCalledBlaster Bring on the grey prototypes, with a little more detail for us to play with. Whenever the hell that’ll be…

wow, 42 pages of bitching about real world vs. chibi. end of the day I just want something that doesn't have a stupid huge backpack or nasty shit hanging off the feet. the chibi alt mode is a little annoying to me, but, I won't be displaying this in alt mode so it's not big on the list of concerns to me. more worried about kibble and a totally clusterfucked transformation.

Thankfully we're finally cutting the unnecessary fat off Toro's back with Parkour, haha.

Those who are saying the alt mode looks chibi must not have seen the cartoon.

I would also prefer a more realistic alt mode, as i have no interest in replicating the cartoon aesthetic. I always say, if I wanted to watch the cartoon, I would save myself thousands of dollars and just watch the cartoon. That said, I'm not sure how a designer could capture the spirit of the character in bot more, but have him unfold into anything approximating a carbot car. I think that mini bots are an exception where we those of us who prefer a toon/realism hybrid figure just have to realize they can't all be Hunks and Duneunners for scale and shape. Sheridans, Spindrifts, and Parkours need to have some concessions, if they are to be minibots.

old enough to have seen the original airings of the cartoon, old enough to have seen the minibots on store shelves, still not a fan of the chibi look. and I mean all the chibi looks, not just this one . to me the design looks like a cheat in design and engineering. meaning they can fudge the alt mode to get what they want for bot mode. much more difficult and impressive in my opinion to take a known vehicle with known dimensions and create something that looks like it came out of the cartoon.
I'm sure the next comment will be, "well, if you want a real life alt mode then there are other makers, so go away and leave this one alone" (basically). Nope, going to stay right here, I like the look of the bot mode and ultimately that's what everyone is in for because it does look so damn good, alt mode be damned.

Wrong! Next comment is, I agree. Same age group, same experiences, same expectations on design and engineering. I'll live with the choice FT is making here, but this isn't MY ideal Cliffjumper.

It only took one day to turn you from a neutral thread enjoyer to partisan anti-Chib enforcer!

How many minibots are left, anyway? I've got to prepare myself for how many more times we can expect a Fanstoys topic to be filled with complaints about the inevitible chibi alt modes.

Gears - This one'll get about the same amount as Brawn and Beachcomber, I'd wager
    Windcharger - This'll be a fun one.
Bumblebee - I really hope they do Bumblebee just so we can see anti-chibi holdouts begrudgingly abandon MP-21 and embrace the true cheebee, mwahaha, you know it'll happen for a lot of people and we'll hear all about it.
Powerglide - I don't know if people are familiar enough with his vehicle mode in real life to be as bothered by the chibi compared to the car minibots, but then again there were still some complaints about Spindrift 2.0 so we'll see.
Cosmos and Wheelie - Should be pretty safe, they aren't real vehicles so they will have the realism-lovers' blessing to actually look like they're supposed to.
Season 3 minibots - same as their original counterparts

Should be lots of fun times ahead.

I'm sure with Windcharger we'll all be able to agree on a sporty red rectangle with monster truck wheels

    That would be incredible.

And, yes, they did make a modified Volkswagen to look like a penny racer but it is horribly impractical.

Gears- indeterminate pickup with cover over box, should be safe
Windcharger- if this one does get done it had better have the rear wheels sticking out the sides, otherwise I don't really think it was all that chibified
BB- MP-21 covers the real alt mode crusaders (LOL) so if they want they can go to town on however they want to do Bee
PG- while I would like to see a Seeker size A-10 I know it won't happen and the only other one out there is the DX-9, either theirs or the shit load of copies, so, it will be interesting to see what happens there
Cosmos and Wheelie- yea, just depends on how they work it, lord knows we need a decent Wheelie
Bumper- don't care if it's chibied, as long as the bot mode gets the proportions right,
Hubcap- needs a smooth hood and a tiny rear spoiler if any at all, was going to perform surgery on the XTB offering if a better solution doesn't present itself

LOL, yep, I am a turncoat. I will blame it on getting up too early and not getting the help I needed with some stuff around home. we all have opinions and wants, if I could have it I'd want this bot mode with with everything tucked neatly away and have a real world alt mode.

I'm just gonna see chibi minibots like some crazy chopped customs. I mean, this exists...

    1974-volkswagen-beetle-custom-chopped-shorty-beetle-4.jpg

In fact there are real cars in real life even more ridiculous than the G1 chibi toys. Like what da fuq is this...

    lzmnwvlx6ox11.jpg

So, Teletran 1 was out looking for alt mode ideas, flew by a custom car show, got drunk, thought it was a good idea, and that's how Bee, CJ and the rest happened! :)  Good enough for me, I can deal with chibi alt modes.

OK, I can buy heavy drinking was involved explanation.
Yea, some people take the chopped, lowered and channeled customizing a bit too far. I just want to see the fker drive it and see how the hell he even gets in.

Yeah I can easily reason it away with being a custom made car.
That said, I don't get the hate on people hating the chibi mode. I welcome their grievances and want to hear it all. It doesn't hurt my appreciation or interest of this guy at all, and I enjoy hearing others interests in what they want out of their figures. Maybe it's because I like so many different styles of TF to begin with.
Anyway, his car mode looks like if it existed in real life, it would look hilariously awesome drifting around corners. That front end is so sporty.
