I wanted to show off my Predacons today, but as I'm still waiting for wave 3 Deluxes to hit Australia, my Predacons mostly consist of Fossilizers.

So today: My Fossilizers, featuring my two other Predacons in pic 2, plus Fossilized Netflix Megatron in pic 3, joined by Fossilized Optimus in pic 4.

 

i welcome with open arms all the repaints of these molds, including Tyrannocon and what I hope to god is a Dinotron in the future.

What did you use to make the adapter?

lego pieces.
the back port is oversized for 5mm plugs, but perfectly fits a straight droid arm acting as a ball joint.
I then used a lightsaber handle as an extender.
the actual connection can be any piece with a stud underside, and a minifig handle on the side.

Well I don’t know if you guys noticed that or it has been posted before, but I’ve found a way to elevate the back piece of his back up above his helmet, just like we see in the animation model. The hinge that holds the piece can be placed upwards and although the pin is misaligned in this position, the piece still has a strong hold and remains very secure. I don’t know if I managed to give a good explanation, but this is how it looks now. Way better.

UNDER THE SEA

 

I got my Tracks and Wingfinger recently. They're nice but Tracks has some real problems with his legs and there are some odd tolerance issues with the 5mm pegs and holds on both of them. Some time it's too loose or too tight bit if I bring in another 5mm weapon it fits fine and the the same for some of the pegs too, loose on Tracks but fits fine in other figures' hands. I don't know what the deal is. Track is a handsome bot and the car is beautiful. I just hope they can fix his legs and reissue him in a year or two.

 

So... is it... an upscaled and retooled cheetor?
