Hey all, just a heads up that Target has a refresh coming to the Transformers section mid August. The previously mentioned Cybertronian Bumblebee and a "Power charge" Bumblebee were listed but the newest thing I saw was a Studio Series Buzzworthy Bumblebee 2 pack of SS79 High Octane Bumblebee and SS02 Stinger. I will post DPCI 's tomorrow as I saw this as I was leaving work. No listing for the WFC 4 pack though...weird. MODS please lock/delete if this has already been discussed/discovered.

We knew the 2 pack was coming but we didn’t know what was in it.

But it looks like my speculation was right. :)

So it's HO Bee VS Stinger and Jeep Bee VS Blitzwing according to all the info we have.

I dreamt, last night, that a bunch of older movie toys were either re-released or getting SS toys based on them. They included a retooled SS Ironhide, ROTF Armorhide and a weird Dreadwing/Divebomb hybrid that came in a two-pack with a SS OP repaint.

You can imagine how immensely disappointed I am to wake up to a straight re-release of a Bumblebee (and not a particularly good one) and Stinger (one of the less accurate SS figs).

So is HO Bee a reissue of the original AOE figure or is it the brand new SS version?

It is a straight up re-issue. The guy who got a hold of leaked Jolt and ROTF Sideswipe got it in hand.

I’d expect Stinger to be unchanged from his original SS release as well.

Power Charge Bumblebee is the Bumblebee Movie re-release.

Based on the photo, it appears to be specifically a re-release of the 1967 Bumblebee figure from the Transformers Tribute Bumblebee 3-pack, which is slightly recolored from AOE High Octane Bumblebee.

I own both, and I can confirm that AOE High Octane Bumblebee has a slightly more orange tint to it, while Tribute 1967 Bumblebee is yellow.

damn that sucks. Although, I did hear a rumour a while back saying that the SS HO Bee was gonna be a remold of SS-01 Bee, but the mold itself is already pretty similar.

Damn shame that it's a reissue, but that means it's one more figure I can safely transplant from my AOE/TLK shelf to my SS shelf (like with Crankcase/Berserker).

It's not a terrible figure all things considered, the vehicle mode was cool, but the robot mode is very spindly compared to the chunkier silhouette the movie model had.

God dammit, I was hoping it' be a new mould HO Bumblebee, like how the ROTF Bumblebee was first discovered in Buzzworthy. I love High Octane Bee's design, but I hate that toy.

It's cheaper then to just remold a figure then to buy a new one.

This probably decreases the chances of this Bumblebee getting a new figure.

I dunno. Hasbro has a habit of squeezing one last use out of an old tooling shortly before releasing an all-new version of the same character or fictional design.

The Combiner Wars Protoctobots were released within one year after the 2014 Asia Kids Day Protectobot multi-packs that featured redecos of 2008 Universe, ROTF and TF: Prime figures.

Studio Series 1977 Camaro Bumbebee was released within one year after the "Transformers Tribute" three-pack had featured the first redeco of the original Deluxe Class "Classic Camaro" since 2007.

Titans Return Kup was released within a year after the Platinum Edition "Autobot Heroes" set had featured a redeco of the 2010 Generations Deluxe Class Kup figure.

I hope the Buzzworthy line gives us a Bumblebee that turns into an actual bee from Waspinator. The Kingdom figure looks a lot more simplistic to be retooled into this concept.
