Depends. Sometimes it all comes in at same time. A have seen a few times individual figures coming in before the cases.

 

Paid for pre-orders, or pre-orders in general?

I've cancelled so many un-paid pre-orders from them these past few years that I'm shocked I'm not banned from there for life.

"Anything" is a bit vague, but on the on I have, and some of the later releases of Double Clutch had improved ball joints in the arms that seemed to fix the problem of them easily popping off. Otherwise, the shoulders are still angled back in combined mode (which is a strange design choice IMO). The unified color scheme is nice, but I don't think it is $90 nice. Unless you are a completist or you really like the figure.

 

I have Assaultmaster and Crankcase. I think Crankcase is prettier, TBH.

 

Yeah the figure itself wasn't bad, it was just missing a few tabs for combined mode to help with the arms, otherwise it's a fun figure.

 

I know. A second run fixed the issues somewhat and I don't feel like trying my luck to get it nowadays. It was fun, and a matching colour scheme would help but yeah

With Grindor, Nemesis spoiler box, and Chatter sitting in there I'm very excited for this Pile to ship. Just waiting on my Rainmaker pre-order to come in first.

 

Really? BBTS says they'll be arriving in July. Guess I'll just wait for the end of the month to see when they get bumped to and ship my PoL if it ends up being Sept after all.

 

Yeah, BBTS estimated arrival month is inaccurate like 10 out of 10 times if it doesn't arrive during the stated month when the pre-order is first listed.

If said pre-order item doesn't arrive in July, the listing just auto updates to arriving August on August 1, then to September on September 1 if it didn't arrive in August, and so forth.  

 

I ordered the case with ER Grapple and ER Starscream, and both individual figures came in stock weeks before the case did. I cancelled the case and bought the individual figures so I could move my pile of loot, the difference was like $2... I got all of my Earthrise Deluxes as full cases, long after they released. That was very convenient!

The only other recent HasTak Deluxe\Voyager\Leader cases I've seen arrive are the Kingdom ones and they all appeared to show up at the same time. That makes sense, since I don't think Hasbro ships them in convenient collector-friendly assortment cases with 1 of each figure that you need; BBTS might just be receiving buckets of each figure and selling them as "cases" with 1 of each at a small discount for convenience.

I know Wal-mart receives Deluxes in cases of 8 with 2 of each figure inside. Their Voyagers come in cases of 3 with one figure being short-cased, so you'd get 2 Primal and 1 Cyclonus, 2 Dinobot and 1 Inferno. I think it's 2 Rhinox and 1 Cyclonus, and next wave will be Tigatron (x2?) and Earthrise Starscream (x1) repack. Leaders come in a 1+1 config and they usually re-use one of them in multiple waves (like BW Megatron being in wave 1 and wave 2).

I don't know if that's how online retailers like BBTS receive them - it certainly doesn't make as much sense. Only the BBTS sales team can answer questions like that, I'm afraid.

Transformers Classic Starscream Statue

It's not too bad looking, but all of my PVC figures have turned sticky and droopy over the years. And when I bought them, 12-18" PVC figures were no more than 40 bucks. 50 for a painted block of plastic... It says statue, so I'm reading "absolutely no articulation or accessory interaction". Any of you guys like this sort of thing, for coffee table or whatever?

Ok thanks. After looking at all the options, the only case I’m really debating on is for the new SS voyagers. But thinking I’ll just wait for the individual listing to go live.

Why does it almost feel like BBTS is giving more respect to the non-1986 Studio Series than Hasbro?

Well that's good (?) to know! I saw that happened with my pre-order of Chatter but had chalked it up to just being because it was a third party figure. I'll keep that in mind next time I'm waiting for a while!
