Even Takara realizes they did a better job with the Arcee mould in Generations/Legends than in WFC.

The fact she was not conceived to have an alt mode originally would make her a perfect choice for the R.E.D. line, I think.

Odd choice for a Masterpiece, though. I guess they need to get more bang out of the Arcee mold to cover their investment.

 

I look forward to whatever story they give as to why she’s a Transformer now.

While it’s fine they make things like this, I, too, am eagerly awaiting a new character black Ironhide and MP DEEPCOVER!

I had her Legends toy, which transformed into a car. I really have no familiarity with the character, so I sold that toy.
She's a cool looking ninja bot, sans that damn backpack.

 

yeah cool I guess. Not really my thing but I'm liking the idea of Night Bird becoming more then just a drone in that one S2 episode.

 

Last night, the P.Bandai Store nearly crashed for people going after Tallgeese Flugal... next, Hasbro Pulse for the retooled Arcee angry bird.

 

I get that, but it's not like WfC has been one to shy away from doing the same characters multiple times.

Who knows maybe it's still coming later.

Pass for me, too expensive at modern MP prices. Might have jumped in at the older price, though.

 

Yeah Road Rage is probably one of the next closest examples because she looks like the Animated version rather than any G1 version that came prior to the MP. Even then she existed as a G1 or Diaclone toy prior.

 

Pop off the backpack and you kill two birds with one stone - no transformation and no backpack. Perfect G1 accuracy. I wonder if TT will make the backpack removable rather than pinned for this very reason?  

 

I'd rather she'd be included with an actual MP Autobot or Decepticon as a posable non transforming Sunbow accurate figure. NOT a repaint that transforms.

 

Yeah I guess they'll concoct something interesting like with Exhaust and the other Diaclones retconned as Transformers. Like she was busted out of storage in Dr Fujiyama's lab by the Decepticons, given transformation ability, and sent on a mission to kick some Autobot butt, or something.

 

Didn't they already do that?

I think enter the night bird is the episode where cliffjumper tries jumping over a cliff and fails.
It's also the one where the decepticons are in a new secret base.


Obviously it's unfinished. There's still a massive "decepticon secret base sign" to be added.

This figure should come with "famous scientist" Dr Fukishama. A kind of 1980s Elon Musk, probably dating someone from jem, who spends his time making giant transforming ninja robots rather than curing aids or something.
