Looks like a Warbotron/Generation Toys design. Considering how many times they changed names, probably is, but I’ve no evidence.

I feel this way since ive been collecting long enough to see the same trends circle back and repeat, just in a different scale.

Hey, im not saying it doesnt look cool in its own right. Its just not Hasbroish enough for me. All those extra lines and sharp edges going on. And thats not saying I like the Takara MP hyper-toon aesthetic either. I think Generations offers the perfect amounts of toon accuracy and stylizing. Not too little, and not too much.

Just an immensely high level of detail and careful paint work from what I can see. Looks quite spectacular. I do like my blocky aesthetic for certain figures but if QC and other factors are all excellent, I might just have to jump ship from FT for my collection's set of Aerialbots.

That is what I also wanted to say.

These 3P Figures do not come with a Faction Symbol. So People can place them where they want them to be.

In the entire TF History, Characters changed Sides often enough.

NO, Not only Jetfire from Michael Bay Movies did, but also Jetfire from Transformers Earthrise Switched from
    Decepticon to Autobot.

    Armada Starscream also did.

Slingshots new Headsculpt really looks a lot like Starscream. Especially The Face does. My first thought when I saw the new Head at the Front News Page
    "Uh? Armada Starscream Style now?"

This is actually why I've never much cared for the arielbots. They're basically five similar, bland, boxy robots that wear a plane on their back (not 100% true for all of them, but you get my meaning). That's exactly why I'm really excited by this guy.

Arguably Jet-/Sky-fire's defining characteristic other than being a large transport jet of sorts is that he was originally a Decepticon, later an Autobot. That was in G1 - Bay and Earthrise just paid homage to the original backstory.

Armada was also likely a borrowed reference, since the story goes that Jet-/Sky-fire was a friend of Starscream's before the war, which is why he became a Decepticon when he was originally awakened.

I just can't unsee it. The legs and feet are just wrong. The proportions don't make sense. 51322310358_c598e22e80_k.jpg

Hmmm he is not human. Besides, asian mecha and G1 transformers have long legs.

Unless he's a pretender with the internal figure on stilts?

But going back to Bayverse Devvy as a reference, you know these guys don't have to fully fit a human frame proportion right?

Proportions look right to me. Based on your drawing, his legs would be as long as his arms. If anything, his arms are too long. Standing straight with your arms down, the tip of your fingers are just a few inches away from mid-thigh. But then those boot feet make up for it.

There are many other examples of bots with less than perfect human body proportions. You can scrutinize until the cows come home if you are that anal about it.

Yes, the legs are slightly longer here, but not to the extent that it looks deformed. To call it wrong is an exaggeration, especially when there are way worst examples out there.

Decided to throw caution to the wind and put in a preorder…I am super curious about this set, and excited to see how they start this out. Those anime/“movie” style vibes are really scratching an itch for me.

So little guy you want every version of a character to be a 1:1 copy and look exacly the same shit as the previous version. Really I don't fucking understand what you geewunners think or where you have been in the last 30 years, from G1 until Unicron Trilogy, and after that the movies, in every continuity MOST ROBOTS WERE TOTALLY DIFFERENT! See Megatron in every one of those cartoons and he was nothing like the previous one, still, he was cool AF. Do you know what the Aerialbots need to be called the Aerialbots? Just the fucking name and to transform into planes! "Oh I don't recognize them" do you know who else was unrecognizable? Movie Ironhide and he was just the most popular and best version of the character. So fuck the character doesn't look like G1 only you geewunners cry for that. They just have to look good

For each bot? Heck. I usually expect those prices on MPM size robots
