Really loving how ME2 looks with this fresh coat of paint.

Default FemShep particularly looks good I feel.

BioWare I was salty that you made the DLC weapons and armours research projects in Mass Effect 2: LE but I could live with it because their costs were reasonable and resources easily obtained by doing planet scanning. Small amount of tedium, big reward.

But the rampaging shittery you have committed with Mass Effect 3's DLC weapons and armour is beyond the fucking pale. 125,000 credits for a gun I got at the start of OG Mass Effect 3? And without re-balancing the credits earned in the game? You shameful bastards.

    That bad?

I don't remember paying a lot for weapons in ME3, but that means I probably got by with underpowered weaponry the entire game...

All weapons started at rank 1 in a first play through; you upgraded them at a console in the Normandy's shuttle bay. Honestly the damage increases seemed so incremental that going past rank 5 or so was probably not a big deal.

Now, to be as fair as I'm willing to be, the weapons I'm referring to were paid DLC back in the day and as such they were available from the get go in every new game or new game plus you did for ME3. Now if it turns out buying them all once unlocks them for all further runs - like the Spectre gear in ME1 - then okay, high initial cost but infinite reuse after that is something I can put up with but I don't think I'm that lucky. And the costs seem to be based on the defunct multiplayer meta because the N7 Valiant rifle costs what the Black Widow used to cost because even though its damage wasn't as big, its rate of fire was so good that an Infiltrator could get all three shots off while enjoying the benefits of Tactical Cloak.

Again this is not game breaking by any measure - truth be told having the N7 arsenal at the start of the game could make it laughably easy to steamroll through at least the first third of it even on higher difficulty settings - but its stuff I'm used to having from word go and the credits earned haven't been adjusted to reflect these newer items being present. If I was getting more money per mission and stuff, I'd not complain about it so much.

I need the game endings mods that were available for ME3, though. No point of playing the Legendary Edition for the default finale. I might resolve to reinstalling modded ME3 and fabricating the save.

Vanderloo lookalike is good enough so I don't bother with having "my" unique Shepard.

    Edit:

I feel like the most important question about this revamp needs to be asked. I'm still in ME1. Can't check it for myself.

Is FemShep still using generic male animations in ME2 onwards? That slinky black dress on her was hilarious thanks to this.

Thinking about picking up the legendary edition, only ever played the first one but thoroughly enjoyed it and just discovered that the remaster is on steam. Might wait till the winter sale though to see if it gets any sort of price drop

Of the 3 games the 2nd one was the best.
Should do a remaster of this for mobile as well, I miss playing it.

This and dead space mobile were amazing at the time they came out, then EA stopped trying. But for awhile they were pushing what mobile could do.

Worth it if only to be able to replay 1 & 2 without too much worry if they will run on modern systems or without having to stuff them with HD texture mods.

Is 1 fully controller supported in the Legendary Edition? Back when I played it on Win7 I used pinnacle game profiler to use a controller with it since it was mouse/keyboard only.

TBH I don't know. I'm used to play ME with keyboard and mouse. EA says it is, but EA says many things.

Yeah, ME1 is now fully compatible with controllers. Been playing it on PC with an Xbox Elite controller and have had zero issues.

Awesome, that's great to know, thanks! Gives me much less hesitation about grabbing the Legendary Edition
